"Urgg... Where the fuck am I...." Onda groaned, her voice coarse. She cleared her throat, massaging her head. She felt like she had gone through a bad hangover, minus the rancidity of the alcohol in her mouth. She looked around to get her bearings, only to see the rest of her team lying down on the ground, while some of Dreamcatcher are covered in blood, patching themselves up.

"Mia! Aisha! Sihyeon!" She crawled as fast as she could to her downed teammates.

"E:U! Where is E:U?!" She frantically scanned around her for E:U.

"Oh, hey boss. Welcome back to the land of the living." E:U greeted her with Lucy around her shoulder. As soon as she put Lucy down, Onda immediately jumped onto her, hugging her tighter than ever.

"Aigoo... Relax. Unnie's fine...." E:U chuckled, patting the back of Onda's head.

"Holy fuck! What the hell happened here?!" Onda requested from Alice, who is busy tending to Rachel's severed leg.

"Okay. I'm done stitching it. Don't move or the leg won't be attached properly." Alice advised Rachel about her leg, before turning to Onda to answer.

"We made contact with the target." Onda was shocked when she heard it.

"Wait, your sister, Lily?! When?! And did she do this to all of you?!" Alice gave a nod, cleaning her bloodied hands with her canteen.

"Did you take her down?" Alice simply shook her head, resting against the wall while lighting her cigarette. Alice's silence ticked on Onda's temper. She grabbed onto Alice's vest and slammed her on the wall.

"Hey, fuckface! Words! Use them!" E:U immediately grabbed hold onto Onda and took her away from Alice.

"Hey, munchkin.... Calm down, okay? Nothing can be achieved with this kind of aggression."

"Can someone tell me what the fuck is going in here?! Why the fuck are you guys drenched in blood?! What happened to my team?!" Onda roared. But somehow she shivered in fear when she locked eyes with Alice again. Her eyes and hair are glowing bright orange and violet. In her mind's eyes, Onda finally understood why they called her Medusa. She saw The Gorgon in her.

"I'mma tell you why, only if it stays right here and between us. No one else." Alice blew the smoke out. After a bit of a staring contest, Onda sighed, apparently getting back her calm.

"Fuck. What the fuck are you guys hiding from us?"

"This." Suddenly out of nowhere, Alice's hand engulfed in flames. E:U and Onda were petrified by what they saw, so much they turned to stone.

"Wake the others. Mommy got a story to tell." Alice ordered the duo.

Lily threw her goggles and mask on the table, tugging hard on her vest to undone. Looking in the mirror, she did not see herself, but a madman wearing her mask. She is lost, she had done the unspeakable. Those she swore to protect, she drove them to hunt for her blood. There is no more moral compass for her, just karma awaiting to claim its rightful place.

One question came to her mind. Is this the butterfly effect that she tried so hard to control? Did it start when Alice and Della turned back time to change the future, or is it all in her own prerogative? Either way, the damage is done. And she hoped Alice could use her head to decipher her cryptic message.

But it all started on during the research she had done on the supernatural back when she had all her mind on how to take care of the forgotten soul in The Bay area. One book told a legend about a king. A king so powerful that the legend portrayed him as the one who wielded an unknown power that can bend reality itself.
