Venom 2 Predictions

A/N: so I kinda want to make a Speculation sort of page on what I think will go down with Venom 2. And give that the film is now only about 9 Months away, I think it's at least nice to give SOME sort of speculation. Especially with some of the info that's come out so far.

So this is my predictions on Venom 2.

First let's start with the film's title. I'm kinda suspecting a subtitle for this film. It does seem to be the kinda thing with Comic Book movie sequels to have a subtitle to them.

I have two subtitles that possibly at being used for Venom 2. Either Venom: Lethal Protector or Venom: Maximum Carnage.

I feel like those would be fitting names for the film considering I feel like Lethal protector would be a named Vemon would be called by some people. And Maximum Carnage is basically for the Fact of Carnage and Shriek being in the film and the film seeming to follow the Maximum Carnage storyline.

I think it's possible that we're going to be seeing a look into Cletus Kasady's past. Judging by the set photo of the orphanage that he had grew up in before he burned it down.

I think we'll either get a flashback of Cletus' past during in the opening of the film with Kasady giving a bit of monologue to Eddie, who's doing another interview on him to get the bigger story on the serial killer. Either that, or it'll be during the middle of the film or so. 

Now while info on this is still little. I do think of something in regards to Patrick Mulligan.

Now there's still a chance that this thing could only be an Easter egg to him. But, since Sony intends to do a Venom 3. I think that the character may have a significant role in the second venom film. 

For how I think this, I believe that Carnage will cause Venom and Eddie to be framed for the murders that Carnage (and probably Shriek) were responsible for. This would cause Patrick Mulligan to attempt to track down Eddie and bring him in. During one of their encounters, Carnage steps in and attacks the both of them as a part of his fun. 

And during something like a mid-credit scene, it's revealed that the Carnage Symbiote had given birth to another Symbiote during the time he attacked Patrick and the newborn Symbiote attached to him it'll foreshadow that he'll become Toxin and the main antagonist for the 3rd Venom.

These next two are based on some rumors floating around the Morbius film that'll probably play into this film. And that has to do with J.K. Simmons' J Jonah Jameson possibly appearing in Morbius and might even appear in Venom 2 to try and give his words on Venom to the public. And considering Sony is attempting to try and get the MCU and their universe together via Spider-Man, I wouldn't be surprised.

Then there's the recent rumor that Sony is supposedly in talks with Tom Holland to try and get him to cameo in the second Venom.

I also predict in this film that Venom is clearly going to need some sort of help against Carnage in the movie. If there's one thing Comics and other media has taught Marvel fans, it's that Carnage is incredibly strong and Venom alone isn't enough to take him on. And since it's only rumored that Tom Holland is going to cameo in the film, Spider-Man likely won't be in the film to back Venom up. And that's not even taking Shriek into account. Either they're going to bring back She-Venom via part of the Symbiote bonding with Eddie's Ex to help even the odds for Venom, or he'll receive another help.

I kinda think the film itself  in terms of visuals will have a red lighting aesthetic to it to go with Carnage's presences in the film.

Another prediction of mine is that either Cletus Kasady will have full control of the Carnage Symbiote and the two both share he exact same mind and goal compared to Eddie and Venom's relationship.

And my last prediction is what will happen to Carnage at the end of the film (if they choose to kill him in it). I think they'll do a complete screen adaptaion of what Venom did to Carnage in Peter Parker: Spider-Man #10, Where Venom ripped the Carnage Symbiote from Cletus and devoured it.

And that's kinda about all I've got for this in terms of predictions. Obviously when more information comes out, my predictions are likely to change. But, we'll have to wait and see.
