Ally's POV:
I honestly didn't care where I was going, but I had to go somewhere. I had to think, and get away from him. Why the heck did he want to even apologize? Doesn't he know that 'sorry' doesn't fix everything?
buzz! My phone went off in my pocket.
Austin: Where'd you go? Text me soon please! Worried about you!
I decided to quickly text him back.
Me: I'm about ten minutes away from the park, meet you there soon?
Austin: Sounds good! See you in a bit! Love you lots!:) xx
He's so sweet! I thought to myself as I walked along the sidewalk. The park was about three blocks away, meaning I could get there pretty quickly if I ran. I started to jog a bit, examining my surroundings. I had been to the park many times, but I had never noticed the small things about my surroundings.
To the right of me were rows of houses, most of them two-floors (A/N: not sure what the term is here) tall. In the distance, I saw two little girls with long ponytails playing jump rope. To my left was rows of busy traffic and trees scattered around the park. I looked both ways before jogging across the street to the old playground.
The park was quite old, it's been around for a grand total of thirteen years. I practically grew up playing around here! With rusty red posts, the play ground stood about eight feet tall. The yellow spiral slide connected from the top of one platform, to the foot of the swings. Underneath the upper platform was a middle platform with two red posts standing in front of it. The two posts held a series of rungs for a small set of monkey bars. To the right of the swings was a jungle gym, which was currently occupied with several boys and girls giggling and snorting as they climbed and twirled every which way.
I immediately headed towards the swings when I heard foots steps behind me.
"Hello Miss Allyson." A voice said behind me. I spun around to see Austin smirking mischievously at me.
I rolled my eyes, before tugging him towards the swings. He sat down on a low swing with a black seat. Claiming the swing to his right, I started to pump my legs.
"Is that as high as you can go Dawson?!" Austin teased, trying to swing higher than me.
I laughed, before replying, "You're just too slow!"
He stuck his tongue out at me before pulling on my swing to slow me down.
"Hey! Stop that!" I scolded as we slowed down. He smirked, before turning to face me.
"So, you feeling better?" He asked expectantly. I nodded my head. He certainly did make me feel better when I was down.
"Yes, but do you know what would make me feel even better?" I asked.
"Try me." He smiled, and that's when I kissed him for the second time that day. He chuckled before pulling back.
"You know I want so much more than that Miss Ally." He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
I laughed before playfully pushing him off the swing. He toppled to the ground in fits of laughter before pulling me down with him. We laughed for quite a while before heading home, hand in hand. Everything was perfect in that moment. At least, I thought everything was perfect.
