ninis' point of view:
______________"Nini don't do that, I could of died!" Ricky whined as he hit me with his pillow.
In seconds my laughter filled the room, "y-you should-d hu-have seen y-your face!" I said quietly in-between laughs.
"Shut up, I'll get you back!" He fired back, which only made me laugh harder.
"S-sure, you will." I said as I finally caught my breath.
I let out a small sigh, chuckling one last time as I made my way next to him on the bed.
"Are you okay?" I asked looked at him, trying to keep down my laughter, but it only comes back up again.
"Yes, but you won't be after this." He says smirking.
I instantly stop laughing giving him a serious look, "don't you dare," I say flatly.
Out of instinct I start moving backwards. That was until I fall, bumping my head on the edge of the bed.
Ricky follows me down to the floor, completely forgetting about the tickle monster he was about to pull on me.
His face turns into a worried expression as a small pout hangs on his lips, "are you okay?" He asked.
I force a small chuckle out and nod my head. I didn't want to act perfectly fine because I didn't want the tickle monsters but today of all days I couldn't be a baby—it was supposed to be his day.
"So," I said as he helped me up, "What the plans for the big 1-3?" I smirked at him.
"I don't know, I think my moms having family come over, but you can stay? I'm gunna need it, Aunt Natalie is coming and we'll, you don't need to explain the last time she came," he said shaking in fake fear making me giggle at the memory.
"Ricky and Nini, come down stairs people are starting to show up," Rickys' mom screamed up to us.
"We're coming," Ricky called back, as he looked at me and rolled his eyes.
"It'll be fine." I smiled as I took his hand and made our way downstairs.
I stopped instantly seeing what was in front of me; a goat?
"Ricky what's—"
"Hello? Nini?" Ricky screamed waving his hand in front of my face breaking the thought of the memory of his last birthday.
I jumped and faced him, "don't even think about it." He said with a stern look on his face.
"How did y—" but my mouth stopped moving when I noticed he wasn't in his pajamas anymore, I scrunched my eyebrows up in confusion and he looked at me and laughed.
"I got changed when you were in your little thought bubbled over there." He laughed.
My heart fluttered looking at him. He was wearing his favorite red sweatshirt, and white and blue ripped jeans. It didn't match what-so-ever but he still managed to look adorable.
"You okay?" He asked, making his way over to me. "Is it your head? Does it still hurt?" He said as his worried pout hangs on his lips just as it did a few minutes before.
"What? No! I'm fine, I was just thinking about the goat!" I giggled.
He let out a small groan, "I told you to not think of it, that means no talking about Bobby either!"
"You named him and didn't even tell me" I screamed.
"I think I hear my mom calling me, well be right down mom!" He screamed, yanking me towards the door.
"I didn't hear your mom," I argue.
"Oh I definitely did!"

"Ricky sweetie, finish your cake, so we can open presents before everyone has to leave!" his mom shouted from the living room.
He quickly scooped the rest of his cake into his mouth looking at me, "memby two opemm pwesents?"
"Ricky come on, don't talk with your mouth full!" I groan covering my eyes.
I could hear him struggle to swallow before he jumped up, "come on!" He ran, leaving me alone with the rest of my cake.

"Last present," his dad smiled handing it to him. "It's from aunt Natalie." He added.
Ricky looked at me with wide eyes, and I began to prepare myself. Aunt Natalie? I started to get ready to see a chicken or something pop out, but nothing did. Everything stayed still while he opened it, so it was nothing living.
He took out what was in the box, holding up camera equipment.
A wide smile spread a crossed my face as I met eyes with eye, "I call making the video first!"
"No! It's my camera!" He whined. "I'm going to make it now!" He screamed running away quickly.
I quickly find my way to my feet following him up the steps to his room, "come on!" I groaned, pouting when I see him already sitting in front of the camera.
"Haha it's already filming without you!"
"Ricky," I frown.
"I'm kidding, I wouldn't start without you!" He laughs. "Come on," he said motioning for me to sit next to him.
"Wait, I want to give you your present first!" I said seeing the unwrapped gift in his corner.
"Nini but the video—"
"Please?" I beg giving him puppy dog eyes.
He looks me in the eyes, making my heart being to flutter before his face breaks out into a grin. "Okay, okay okay!" He smiles going to get it.
"Yay!" I cheer.
He picks it up lightly going back over to the bed where he was just sitting, I move next to him as he begins to open it.
"Is it expensive?" He asked. "I told you not to spend your birthday money on me," he frowns.
I didn't want to lie to him, because the present was bought with my birthday money so I decided to just ignore the comment, "please just open it,"
He let out a small sigh as he pulled out the microphone.
"You did not!" He screamed. "Is this real?" He questioned.
"Yes, all you gotta do is get batteries. There is a cord too where you can plug it into a speaker."
"We can make a singing video!" He screamed.
"Oh my god wait I made a song about clouds just let me go grab my ukulele and I'll be right back I promise!"
