"Ugh," I fake groan, dropping my pencil.

Ricky dropped his game controller and turned around with a sly smirk on his lips, "you okay?" He asks.

I keep the fake pout on my lip, determine to have him come sit next to me, "I can't figure out my homework, can you help me please?" I say forcing my puppy dog lip out.

"You? You don't know how to do your schoolwork?" He questions, clearly stiffing a laugh at my fake attempt to cuddle.

"Yes!" I whine. "Can you please help? You're good at math right?" I ask.

"I mean, I'm average," he shrugs.

"Please," and with that last pout he gave in, moving next to me.

He placed his hand on my leg and I felt a spark of nerves shoot through my body.

I shift comfortably under his touch, "okay what do we have here?" He asks, snatching my work.

He drops it after staring at it for a moment, and gives me a look. "You can do this in your sleep."

"I suddenly feel smarter by you sitting here, hm crazy how that works huh?" He gives me a look and nods as if he understands. He then stands, and I don't hide my disappointment but it quickly disappears when he hops on the other side of the bed and snuggles into my side.

"Much better, wow I can do my math now! Thanks Ricky I can understand, you helped so much."

"Yeah yeah, shut up," he said squeezing my stomach tighter.

I quickly finished my homework with Ricky's slight snoring coming from my side.

I take a moment to appreciate the sight in front of me. It's crazy how the boy who I watched grow up beside me, is now my boyfriend. I never in a million years thought my head would skip a beat watching him cuddle up to my side—but here we are.

I grabbed my phone to take a quick picture, before he moved.

"Hey," I said, brushing my fingers through his hair to wake him up.

I watched as his eyes slowly fluttered open. A look of slight confusion spread across his face as his eyebrows scrunched up, but once he looked up at me the confusion turned into a smile.

"How long have I been asleep?" He asked.

"Not very long, I just finished my work. I was wondering if you wanted to watch a movie or something?"

"You woke me up to ask if I wanted to watch a movie?" He asked.

"Yes! I couldn't of moved without waking you up to put one on anyways."

"Okay, fair enough. What do you want to watch?" He asks, sitting up–leaning his head on the back of my headboard.

"Anything you want," I smirk.

"In that case...."
