Harry and Malfoy walked into breakfast. Harry caught a glimpse of a familiar face, Remus Lupin. He was sitting at the teacher's table. Their eyes locked and Harry quickly looked away. Malfoy put his arm around Harry, almost escorting him to the Slytherin table.

"It finally happened," Crabbe said smiling.

"You owe me ten galleons." Blaise looked at Crabbe with a smirk as money is exchanged across the table.

"You guys knew?" Harry asked looking at his friends.

"Of course we did," Goyle said stuffing food in his mouth, "Practically everyone at Slytherin did.

Harry blushed looking at Draco and quickly pecked him on his cheek. Draco smiled.

Breakfast was soon over, and that's when the drama really began. Harry and Draco had gotten up to walk out of the great hall when they are stopped by none other than Remis Lupin.

"Harry we need to talk, it's about your parents,"  Remus said grabbing Harry's shoulders.

"They should have wanted to talk years ago. I am pretty content being here with just Draco and my friends who actually CARE about me." Harry said as Draco pulled Harry away, "Plus I have class."

Harry and Draco walked towards the Transfigurations classroom. You could see how much they cared about each other. How protective Draco was. Harry's life was for once perfect, and his parents weren't gonna ruin it now.

Class's were relatively quick. Draco was fidgety as alway, and for some reason, Crabbe was in an especially pranky mood. He put chocolate frogs in Harry's sachel, that jumped out immediately after he opened it. On the way back to the dorms with Draco, something strange happened. Harry's parents came running down the dungeon hallway. They grabbed Harry aside.

"Harry, We are so so sorry, please at least talk to us." James croaked out looking at his son.

"You're Sorry? You're sorry you just forgot about me as a child? I used to think that if I didn't cry or complain than for some reason you would get it through your thick skulls that you loved me. That all a sudden, you would come up to my, frankly depressing room and bloody hug me. As simple as that, but I wasn't Alex. When I was eleven, I heard you call me a freak. You didn't ask for forgiveness then. I overall suffered enough emotional abuse to the point it's surprising I'm a decent human being and trust me when I say none of it was your doing. I tried so hard to get you to see how special I was, and for years you didn't even bloody talk to me! For Merlin's sake, do you not see what is wrong with that? and then out of the blue, you want me to forgive you? Well here is some news for you, I'm happy. I'm finally happy. I finally don't need you to bloody hug me or tell me how great I am. I finally am old enough to tell myself that I am great! I turned out great and I am finally old enough to tell you that I don't need you! I may never need you again. If you want me to forgive you, then you probably should have asked years ago." Harry had tears streaming down his face. He picked up his satchel and walked over to Draco.

He was a wreck. When they got to the dorm, Draco turned Harry to face him. He looked into the gorgeous green eyes and wiped away his tears. He smiled and kissed Harry in the middle of the doorway. It was a passionate kiss. The type of kiss that is hard to forget. Harry smiled at Draco.

"You ok?" Draco finally asked breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I feel better. It feels like that's been on my chest for years," Harry smiled, still inches away from Draco, "I'm so glad I have you."

Draco smiled at Harry and kissed him again. Harry felt better, and for some reason, even though he had been angry only minutes ago, he felt better. He needed to say that, and he needed Draco to support him after.

Harry took a hot shower and hopped into bed. Tomorrow would be a new day.
