The sun shining through the window, directly hitting Cecilia’s bed, was the cause of her awakening after her first night in California. Opening her eyes to the brightness, a smile made its way onto her face immediately, finally adjusting to the fact that she’s in California.

Stretching her arms, she looked over at the clock beside her bed to see that it was only seven in the morning, but in all honesty, it didn’t bother her. Besides, the time difference had it’s effect on her since she slept at eight yesterday.

After freshening up in the bathroom, she decided to take a look at the city from the balcony as she stepped out into the hot air. Even at seven in the morning, people were crowding the streets of LA. Some on skateboard, some on bikes and some walking.

Looking over at the beautiful view of the beach, her smile widened as the waves crashed onto the shore. “Beautiful.” She whispered.

But the sound of a screen door opening and closing snapped her out of her thoughts as she looked to the balcony next to her, Zayn walking out in only Nike shorts, making her eyes widened.

(Cecilia’s POV):

And the moment I thought he couldn’t get any more beautiful, he had to walk out like that.

While some people are not attracted to tattoos at all, I was the total opposite. It was like they were made for him. The way they only added to his beauty as they were scattered all over his body.

But it was one tattoo that really caught my attention.

It was a girl.

I heard a cough and I snapped out of my trance as I looked up at a smirking Zayn, only to blush myself.

“Quite an obsession with tattoos.” He defended himself.

I smiled. “I noticed. Good morning.”

“What a good morning it is.” He replied.

I don’t know why, but his sentence made me blush even more as I felt like those words were directed towards me.

“Time difference?” He asks me.

“Yeah, but I don’t mind waking up to the sun and the beach. It’s relaxing.”

Another sound of the screen door opening caught my attention. But this time, it was the one on this balcony. The moment my eyes landed on a shirtless Louis, they widened in realization.

“You two…you didn’t…”

He smiled sheepishly. “Haven’t seen her in months. Cut a guy some slack.”

Zayn started laughing as I shook my head in amusement. “Could’ve told me.”

“As if you’re going to spend the night in a flat with four guys.” Louis stated the obvious.

But it was just then that I noticed the tattoos on him also. “Another fan of tattoos.”

“Gotta love ‘em.”

I smiled at the two friends as my eyes trailed back onto the tattoo of a girl on Zayn’s bicep.

“So, do you guys want to go to the beach today?”

“That’s not something you’d hear during this time in London.” Zayn joked.

“Yeah that would be fun.” I told them. “But I think we have to wait for the others to wake up.”

“How about we go out and get them breakfast? By the time we come back they’ll probably be awake.” Louis suggested.

“We’ll get lost.” I answered.
