CHAPTER 9-
I quickly spun toward the bathroom door in fear. But my fear was short lived when I saw it was Andrew stumbling around drunk. He looked up at me and said, "Whhhatt thuuu hell happened to you?" then he puked all over my shoes. Well wasn't that just lovely. Where had my brother been anyway, he hardly ever goes out drinking or to parties. I made a note to myself to ask him in the morning. I looked down at my grey vans and crinkled my face in disgust, they were covered in gross chunks of what looked to be carrots and ewwww was that rabbit fur in there too!
I peeled my shoes off carefully and filled up the bathtub. As the warm water splashed down onto the porcelain of my tub I helped Andrew to bed and out of his sweat, puke, covered clothes. Sometimes I seriously wondered who was the older sibling. Once I got him to his room he fell on to his bed and was out cold. I trotted back to the bath tub, stopped the running water and slipped in. The warm water soothed my aching muscles and engulfed my whole body. I shut my eyes and contentment and wished life could always be that simple. After about 20 minutes of relaxing i climbed out of the tub and wrapped a plush towel around my now goose bump covered body, due to the temperature difference. I pulled the plug from the bath tub and let the drain those monstrous gurgling noises while sucking down all the remnants of my bath.
I walked into my Brightly colored yellow bedroom, with which wall had been almost fully covered up with artwork, posters, photos, and poems. I quickly threw on a big old volleyball t-shirt and some sponge-bob square pants pj shorts from Walmart. Before I knew it I was fast asleep.
I usually never have dreams but this night I did. I dreamt that I was singing a lullaby of some sort while walking through the moonlit forest. I knew for some reason I should feel scared but I didn't. then a large black werewolf walked right up in front of me, I froze. The werewolf sniffed and looked around then proceeded to walk through me. I was confused but continued walking until I reached a beautiful still lake that I had never seen before. I walked right up to the water and went to look at my reflection but when I did there was nothing there...
I was suddenly jolted awake because I felt like I had fallen off a cliff, my heart pounded fast, but in reality I had just rolled over in my bed. I lay there staring at my black ceiling for about fifteen minutes trying to decipher my dream, but I couldn't make any connections with anything and with that I floated off to a dreamless sleep.
