As we came to a stop, Anthony was the first one coming up to us and he smiled at me, then glanced down at our clasped hands and his genuine smile turned into a grin.
"Ah, I see."

Then he turned to Josh and shook his head. "Don't even try it, pretty boy. This beautiful lady over here has a boyfriend so don't get your heart broken."

I blushed and cleared my throat, while Josh swallowed and let go of my hand. "Yeah, don't worry. Won't happen." Then he stepped away and went to the bar to get himself something to drink.

I bit the inside of my cheek,  before turning my attention back to Anthony, who still smirked. "Sophia, I'm disappointed. I thought you'd be a truthful young woman."

I scoffed and shook my head. "I am!"

He shook his head too. "Yeah, maybe now. But not for long."

As I was about to answer, a beautiful brown haired girl with incredible make-up came up to us and stood really close to Anthony. She smiled sweetly at me, before pushing me in her arms.

"Hey! I've heard so much about you and it's so nice to finally meet you!" She let go of me, after I returned the hug, and her smile grew bigger, when that's even possible. "I'm Avani and hell, your dress is amazing. I love how outstanding the colour is!"

She seemed like a real sunshine and I already loved her. "Aww thanks, but you're gorgeous yourself girl! I'm Sophia, but just call me Soph."

She clapped her hands together and cheered happily, while grabbing onto Anthony to steady herself, I'd assumed because of the alcohol and her high heels. I looked at Anthony and I could see his heart shaped eyes. He was really into that girl, which I could totally understand.  I mean, she was indeed gorgeous.

"Come on, the others will love you!" She almost screamed and grabbed my hand before dragging me with her to the crowd of people. It weren't so many, but it was a good amount.

Avani ran up to a really pretty blonde haired girl, and while thinking about how Avani could run in her shoes, I smiled at the lovely girl in front of me.

"Addison, that's Sophia. Sophia, Addison."

Addison looked me up and down but not in a bad way. Her eyes were filled with awe, just like my grandma. "Wow! You are literally so beautiful."

I laughed and tucked my hair behind my ears. "Oh please, look at you."

"Awww thanks, you can call me Adds if you want to. We're all going t to be such good friends!"

She came up and hugged me and I hugged back happily. They're really all so nice and cool, just like Amanda had said. "Yeah thanks, but I'm kinda doing my own nicknames with everyone I like so get ready."

We all three laughed and then, Brice came up behind Addison all of a sudden and laid his arm around her waist, before throwing her into the pool with a fits of laughter from the other boys.

Addison shrieked and swam across the water to the edge Bryce was standing on. She smirked and held her hand out for him. "You threw me in here. Now act like a gentleman and help me out of here. It's cold."

I could tell she was lying because we were in L.A. normally it really wasn't cold here and it that hasn't changed today.

Brice rolled his eyes but his hands grabbed Addisons. Just as he wanted to pull her out of the water, she pulled him down and he landed almost on top of her, if she wouldn't have ducked in the water and swam some inches away from him.

Suddenly, someone screamed: "Pool party!" And everyone followed Brice and Addison into the pool.

I started laughing and wanted to jump in after Avani, but before I could jump in by myself, someone grabbed me by the waist and threw me in the water.

I almost landed on Avani but luckily Anthony was there and pushed her out of the way and of course onto him.

I would've liked to look at them a little longer, but my face went under the water and I had to held my breath as i enjoyed the smooth water against my skin. I've always loved the water.

Suddenly, I felt arms wrap around my waist and they lifted me up above the water to get some air. As I could smell the scent and felt the warmth, I already knew who it was.

"Let me go!" I whined while laughing and he smiled at me and shrugged.

"Okay, if you want to."

I felt my head going under the water again and I squint my eyes shut, before swimming above the water again, this time, without arms around me.

Quickly I looked around in search for him and I found Josh just in front of me, his back facing me. I smirked, before jumping up, while my hand laid on his shoulders and pressing him underwater.

I smirked triumphantly, but that disappeared just as fast as I because Josh had dragged me down underwater with him.

I opened my eyes under the water and saw his right in front of me, his arms around my waist, us just hovering smoothingly in the water inbetween a lot of legs.

I smirked at him, before pushing onto his chest and myself upward, above the water. I took in some fresh air and looked around happily.

"Hey, you want some drinks?" Josh asked suddenly behind me, really close, but not as close as in the house before, and I nodded before he led me to one of the bars. One bar was outside and one was inside. He went straight to the one inside.

As we passed the couch, I made sure to check on Amanda, before sitting down next to Josh on one of the chairs.

I fiddled with my fingers while biting the inside of my cheek. That was another old habit, which I did every time he used to be around me.

Josh laid his hand over mine and I looked up, meeting his gaze and returning his small smile.

He cleared his throat and wiggled his eyebrows. "You have a lot to tell me, Sophia Angel Brown."
