Brian's POV
"We're all going on a... summer holiday, no more worries for a week or two... maybe three" Roger sang and I giggled as we pulled up at the port, "Brian, get the passports ready, we've got to show it here" he patted my leg and I got our little baggie of passports for all of us. I handed it over to the guy at the barrier and he checked all of them, it took him a while because there were so many but we got through and down to the dock.Roger parked up in our spot and put the permit up on the dashboard before everyone piled out, even me. I got each little suitcase out of the boot of the car and put them on the floor for the kids to find their own and Roger took them down to the yacht. They looked like the Von Trap family marching down the dock and I couldn't help but laugh as Tigs ran to catch up with her little suitcase, "wait! Papa!"
I got Lola out of the car and locked up then wheeled my suitcase and carried her down to the yacht, "have you seen this before? I haven't. Your Pap picked this one so he'd better have made a good choice. Ooh, I wonder if we'll have a really fit, young captain. I wouldn't mind that" I giggled and she just looked at me, chewing on her stuffy's ear and I sighed, "alright, too early for boys. I get it"
They'd all waited for us so we could all board together but when I got there, I saw Roger looking around a bit worriedly, "it's not here" he whispered through his teeth and I looked at him, "what? What d'you mean it's not here?" I asked quietly and he frowned, squinting at all the yachts, "none of these are ours... they said it would be right here"
I looked over his shoulder at the paperwork and put my forehead on his shoulder when I realised what he'd done, "love, we're on the wrong dock" I told him and he groaned, "my god I'm so stupid... come on then, you take us to the right place, I'll bring up the back" he said and I took the papers and led our group of ducklings to the right dock and found our yacht.
Rog and I let the kids go on and explore and I held my arm out to Roger, "my good man, would you join me?... and Lola, can't forget Lola" I chuckled and he blushed bright red as he linked arms with me and the both of us stepped onto the deck. "I feel fancy already" he said and both of us laughed before we headed up to meet our captain for the next few weeks.
It took us a while with Roger's creaky hips and me carrying the child with me but we got there, Roger got there much quicker than me and seemed to already be best mates with the captain by the time I got there. I shook the captain's hand and he looked into the little basket to see Lola, "who's this little one?" He cooed and stroked her head.
"Her name's Lola, she's four months now" I said proudly and he smiled, "she's very cute, oh! And very grumpy, I'm sorry" he chuckled then looked at the both of us, "you don't have to stay here, by the way, we're leaving in two hours so you've got plenty of time" he said and Roger looked at me then took my hand and almost pulled me down the stairs.
We rushed down the decks and saw all the little ones running about and Lola accidentally dropped her stuffy and started crying, "alright, alright, I'll get him" I cooed and got Roger to pick up the little bear and I handed it back to our daughter. She quietened down after realising her stuffy was back in her hands and we carried on down until we reached the master bedroom.
Roger opened the door and looked inside, gasping loudly, "oh my god! Brian, look at this!" He gushed over the place and I poked my head in, "oh... my god. This is so beautiful" I looked around at the bed and the beautiful view.
