Jeongukk arrived at the Chili's parking lot with his coach. He needed a ride, so his teammates made him be the one to go with their coach since he was the youngest. Although, he didn't mind much since he rather stay away from his teams dramatic asses.
He hopped out of the car, stretching out a bit. The automobile wasn't the biggest car, and the brunette wasn't the smallest human. He moved his neck to the side with a crack. He sighed.
"Jeongukk-ah!" Coach Baek called from the other side of the car. Jeongukk wondered why he was yelling considering they weren't far away from each other or anything. Nonetheless he walked around, the older acknowledging his presence.
"Can you get my crutches?" He questioned, gesturing to the trunk of the car.
Jeongukk nodded, making his way to open it.
The motion, and the wind caused his shirt to ride up a bit. He didn't think anything of it, until he heard a whistle from his side.
"Hey, cutie. By any chance do you have a girlfriend?" The woman asked, biting her lip to get his attention. Jeongukk was used to getting hit on like this, at first it was a little flattering, but now it was just creepy and uncomfortable.
"I'm 16." He muttered, pulling the crutches out the back door.
When he smoothed his shirt down, she was still looking at him with a smile.
"I won't tell if you don't." She winked. She was now leaning on the back part of the car.
Jeongukk blinked. "No thanks..fucking weirdo." He mumbled, using coach baeks crutches to poke her out of the way.
When she stumbled, he used it as the right time to close the trunk and move.
When he handed the crutches to his coach, the guy gave him a questionable look.
"What did she want?"
Jeongukk shrugged.
...
The both of them sat at a table, Jeongukk specifically choosing the chair at the end so that Yugyeom didn't have the chance to accidentally spill soda on him again. He hated booths. Did he mention he hated booths?
"Hey, Jeongukk?" The boy shot his attention towards his coach.
"What happened earlier during the game? You kind of paused for a second." He reminded, shoving a chip into his mouth.
"Oh.." the younger blushed, memory of the moment flooding back into his mind.
He was so pretty.
"I mean, you're not in trouble. I was just wondering if everything is okay. That hasn't happened before." He added.
Jeongukk nodded, "I'm fine coach."
They left it at that, as jeongukk tried to control his heated cheeks.
Not long after, he heard the loud voice of one of his teammates.
"Woooo! Still number one in the state, baby!"
The brunette glared as the first group of boys approached the table, noting how disrespectful that sounded to announce in a full restaurant.
"What Gukk? I could feel your judging stare from the parking lot. So cold." Jackson stated, as jeongukk ignored him.
"That's Jeongukk for you, he looks so innocent. You'd never believe that he's the one that beat up Yugyeoms stupid cousin that one time."
They all laughed, besides Jeongukk.
Even Yugyeom, before coming to his senses. "Hey!"
"What are you talking about? Jeongukk doesn't look innocent." They all turned to look at him.
"It's probably because we've known him for a while. I still see him the same way."
They all cooed, remembering baby freshie jeongukk. Baby face and all, he still ran everyone over.
He rolled his eyes, taking out his phone to play Smule Magic piano. (Someone once made fun of him when he was playing one direction songs in class, but then jeongukk ended up making him cry, and then that was the end of it.)
...
Once the whole team got there, they ordered. Jeongukk got about a million food items, all in which Yugyeom would attempt to grab a piece of when he wasn't looking.
"Why are you so greedy for food? I just want one." He whined from over the table.
"Hey, leave him alone." Coach Baek told the boy reaching across the table.
"I just want one-"
Yugyeom ended up spilling Jeongukks fruit punch, having it land all over the youngers clothes.
He sat down with a nervous smile.
Jeongukk was about to kill him, but kept his composure.
"Sorry.." He apologized in fear, as the boy wiped up the soda with his napkin.
"It's okay." Jeongukk mumbled.
"What did I tell you, idiot." Coach Baek rolled his eyes. "Stop acting like a kid."
Jeongukk got up to go to the bathroom and clean up his shirt.
So much for taking the seat at the end.
He looked at himself in the mirror, grimacing at the sight of the red drink all over his shirt.
And his chest felt all wet now, and he was uncomfortable.
Stop being such a dramatic ass.
He was okay.
Suddenly the door was pushed open, and the boy hoped that it wasn't Yugyeom because he was still kind of pissed off.
"Jeon?" He heard a voice say.
He looked.
Never mind. He was not okay.
