27. STILL

"Since you are going to help us, I think it's best for you to stay here for the meantime. What do you think? We have rooms here to spare and my Luna cooks deliciously you won't get hungry."

I almost scoffed at Namjoon's words.

Yeah, his Luna.

My mate.

MINE.

I so badly wanted to get angry at Jin for leaving me and finding out weeks after that he is in covenant with another alpha. But I can't, after all I still do love him. But at the same time I can't accept this he is mine and mine alone!

I marked him. He is not allowed to touch another alpha except me.

But thinking about Namjoon's offer, I think it's the best to agree. I need to know what happened and why did he do that. What's his motive? If he got the gold of mine then why is this pack still suffering?

And most importantly, why did he let me mark him? Does he really think that after marking each other I'll just let him go? Heck no! I'll fight for him even if it means taking him away from Namjoon.

"Hey babe, here's your food."

I herad Jin entered the living room. He is with a tray of foods and drinks. II kept my eyes locked at Jin's every movement. His little smiles to Namjoon, how he place the glass of juice in front of us and how he stood and left to go back to the kitchen.

"Thanks." Namjoon said.

This couple was just way too sweet. And I'm not happy about it. I don't need to ask him of he's Jin. I know it's him he doesn't look me in the eye. And his scent won't lie. He is my Omega.

I stopd up and looked at Namjoon, "Where's your restroom? I need to pee."

"Just go to the kitchen and you'll see a door, there. That's the restroom."

I nodded at him and walked past the kitchen.
I saw Jin tidying up the stove he used. He seemed to look peaceful and unbothered. Unlike me, his presence alone makes me long for him. He's my mate, it's natural.

He was about to go to the fridge when I grabbed him by the arm and slammed him to the wall. O heard him gasp when he saw how close our faces were and his blue eyes held emotions I can't explain at first and then it switched to being angry and furious.

I wanted to kiss him and tell him that I miss him but I won't. I prevent myself from doing so. I want to know the truth first.

"What's this game of yours?" I hissed. But as our skins touch, I felt that familiar tingles and burn in my skin. I looked at him to see his reaction and I can see him closing his eyes and gulped hard. He can feel it too.

"I don't know what you are talking about!" He said without making eye contact.

"Don't lie to me. I can smell your scent. And your mark aches for me." I placed my nose on his mark to smell his scent and I sensed him shuddered.

"Let go of me." He weakly protested and pushed me but I didn't budged.

"I won't. Until you tell me why did you do that. Why Jin?" My voice was pleading and my heart bleeds. Seeing him living this life and knowing he could live without me is a big slap in my face.

"I want to steal from you to pay the debts of this pack! You are an easy victim and you fell for it. You fell for me and now, you lose!"

But hope still lingers in me even if he acts like this towards me. It's because he never looks at me in the eye, when we were together he always looks directly into me, as if reading my soul.

"Look at me while you say that."

He did looked at me for a fraction of a secind and turned away again only to say:

"I didn't loved you. Not one bit."

I smirked. Not leaving my position. I still lavish on his scent grazing lips on his mark.

"We'll see about that. I'm going to live in this house for god knows until when. Convince me that you didn't love me when your blood and veins screams my name. You let me mark you, you're forever connected to me."

"I can easily reject you."

"But you didn't."

He should've done it when he left me but he didn't. I know that he is fully aware that I can track him just by his scent but he didn't do it. It must mean something.

"Watch me do it!"

I licked his mark and heard him whimper. "Next time, my love.I'll take you away from Namjoon. Mark my words. You're mine. I'm an alpha, I took possession of what's mine and no one should dare to take it."

"I am not yours! I'm his Luna and I will take responsibility of my pack. Take your horny ass with you and leave. No one wants you here."

His voice raises a bit and I just but his mark again making him moan. I can confirm it, he's still mine. And I'm not leaving this place without him by my side.

Thank you for your messages and prayers. We are safe just experiencing ashfalls these past days. The volcano hasn't erupted YET, we're on alert level 4. We are not yet adviced to go out so I'll stay home. Maybe I'll write while I wait for what's going to happen next.
