My first day went well, I thought getting in my dad's car. "How was school?" He asked before I could get in the car good. "It was good, I made a friend," I replied smiling from ear to ear. "What's her name?" He asked genuinely interested. "Amy," I simply stated. "She wanted to know if I could come to her party," I implied. "Will there be chaperones?" "I don't know, I didn't think to ask." "I don't think you should go. I mean, there could be alcohol, and I don't want you to be in the mix of a bunch of teenagers with raging hormones. That's opening up the door for the devil to co- , I zoned out . I should have known he would act this way.

The rest of the car ride home, I remained silent. When we pulled up in the driveway, I reached for the handle. My dad gripped my arm stopping me from getting out of the car. "Look, I know your mad now, but you'll understand someday when you have children of your own. He let me go, and I got out and slammed the door. When I made it inside, I ran to my room without even acknowledging my mom as she was saying something. I flung myself on my bed and stared up at the ceiling.

My mom came into my room and closed the door behind her. "What's wrong sweetie?" Mom asked. "School was fine, I even made a friend," I said pouting. "So, what seems to be the problem?" She asked tilting her head to the side. "My friend invited me to a party, but dad wont let me go," I whined. "Can I go, I promise I want do anything wrong," I pleaded. "Now now, I can't go against your Father. He just wants what's best for you, as well as I do. Someday, you'll understand that when you have children, you'll do anything to protect them," my said as she got up and left my room.

"Sneak out, I mean your practically an adult, you can make your own decisions," Amy's words replayed in my head. She's right, I can make my own decisions, I thought out loud. Searching my closet, I came across a dress I had never wore. My aunt gave it to me, but my dad forbid I wear it. The dress was a black v neck, snug at the top with a red sash around the waist, and loose at the bottom. I hung it on the back of my door.

I made my mind up, I'm gonna sneak out. Later that night, I had washed the dishes and finished all my chores. Luckily, I had already showered. I waited awhile for my parents to go to sleep. Sliding into my dress and sandals. I looked in the mirror and I looked half way decent. Except my hair was all disheveled. Combing through the entangled hair, I braided it with one braid on the side and pulled it up into a pony tail. Everything was complete, so I unlocked the window and left for Amy's house.

Surprisingly, her house was only five houses down. I couldn't believe it, I made it right on time. People started pulling onto the curb and in the driveway. Amy ran up to me, I guess she saw me looking lost. "Hey, I thought you were gonna bail on me," she said. I gave her a small smile. I felt so out of place. She handed me a red cup and I smelled inside. Turning my nose up almost immediately, I handed it back to her. "What you do want any punch?" Amy asked. "This is punch?" I asked dumfounded. "Yea, so bottoms up!" Amy raised her cup, then took a large gulp. I took a sip of "the punch", I spit it back in the cup. Unfortunately, some still slid down my throat, and it was a strong and tingly sensation. "Ahhh.. I breathed. "What wants to play spin the bottle?" Amy yelled out. Everybody cheered and sat around in a circle.

The first person spinned the bottle, and it landed on someone next to me. The two people got up and walked to the closet and shut the door. Seven minutes later, they came out. The girl's hair was unkempt, and the boy's clothes were wrinkled. Blushing, she took her seat next to me. The next person spinned the bottle and it landed on me. My eyes grew wide and I gulped back my shame.

Standing up, I almost fell back down. My legs literally felt like jello. I followed the guy into the closet, and I shut the door behind us. The guy looked at me with a goofy grin on his face. "So um, what do you wanna do in here?" I asked nervously. He closed his eyes and puckered his lips, I quickly placed my hands on my mouth. When the shaggy haired blond's lips connected with my hand, I let out a small giggle. The door swung open, before he could utter a word and I exhaled, relieved.

The rest of the night went well, we laughed and ate pizza. I still chose not to drink the spiked punch. After saying goodbye to Amy, I left to head home. Pushing my window up, I quietly climbed in. I breathed a sigh of relief, because I just knew I was home safe. All of a sudden, my light switched on, and I stood there frozen. I stood as still as a statue. The only thing I could think of is one word "trouble".
