Shaggy, Scooby, and Ruby were at a sandwich stall in the marketplace. They were watching as the man was putting stuff onto the sandwich.
"I made a lot of poorboy sandwiches in my time. But this has got to be the biggest of them all." The man said as he carried the nearly 6 foot tall sandwich over to the three friends
"Like, we're used to eating big meals." Shaggy said as Scooby started putting peppers on the sandwich
"Hey, Scooby, don't hog all the peppers." Ruby said as her and Shaggy started putting hot sauce on the sandwich
"I see you three like it hot." The man says as Ruby uses Crescent Rose to cut the sandwich int three pieces
"Like, mo' hotta, mo' better, eh Soob?" Shaggy asks
"Reah." Scooby answered as the three friends grabbed their pieces of the sandwich.
"Hmmm....."Ruby hummed as she picked up her piece of the sandwich
Ruby then launches her piece into the air, jumps up, cuts it into smaller pieces, grabs a plate, and all the pieces fall onto the plate. She noticed Scooby ate his piece and inhaled what was in-between the bread leaving Shaggy only with the bread as he bit down and ate it.
"Like, somehow this is less filling then I thought it would be." Shaggy said as Scooby laughed and Ruby chuckled
"Come on, you guys, we have another haunted house to investigate!" Fred calls out to them.
The three friends look at each other and gulp in unison.
Later, they all get in The Mystery Machine. Daphne was at the driver seat.
"Great timing, you guys. Lena was just about to take off without us." Daphne says
Daphne honks the van's horn and waves at Lena who got in a grey pickup truck. She waved back and drove off. Daphne starts driving and following her. While riving, they look around the environment.
"Wow, this place is beautiful." Ruby said
Velma is looking at a map and points to a specific area
"This map says Moonscar Island is right in the middle of the next bayou." Velma says
"Sounds like a great place to get some good, spooky footage." Daphne says while driving
"And some good Cajun cooking. For some reason, i'm still starved." Shaggy said as he pulled out a box of stale Scooby Snacks and started eating them. "Like, even these stale Scooby Snacks are beginning to taste good." Shaggy added
Fred looked back at his friend with a concerned look. The two vehicles then drive onto a dock which is a bit bumpy, but they park as Lena parks.
"What's going on?" Weiss asks
"I don't know." Blake answers
Lena honks her trunk's horn at the man who is setting the ferry up for a travel.
"Ms. Lena, I see you brought you some company, eh??" The man calls out
"Yes, Jacques. These folks have come a real long way to see a real haunted house." Lena replies
"Eh heh heh, well if they want haunted, they come to the right place." Jacques replies. Jacques then walks over to The Mystery Machine's driver side window/ "Peoples go into that bayou, and they don't ever come out." he adds ominously
"Uh....so we understand." Daphne replies
Jacques walks onto his boat as Fred, Velma, Daphne, Blake, Weiss, and Yang look at eachother and shrug
After the two cars were on the ferry-boat, the whistle blows as the two vehicles are turned off after parking and Jacques climbs into the captain's cabin on the ferry and stands at the wheel
Shaggy and Scooby get out of The Mystery Machine.
"Hey like, do you sell food on this ferry? We're starved!" Shaggy asked
Lena gasps after seeing Scooby and says,"I didn't know you had a....dog."
"Are you allergic to dogs?" Daphne and Velma ask in unison
"No, it's just that my employer, Mrs. Lenoir, she keeps cats." Lena explains
"Don't worry, Scooby's great with cats." Shaggy says
"As long as they don't make him mad." Blake adds
Everyone else looks at each other knowing very ell Scooby doesn't mix well with regular cats. Especially if something wasn't right about the cats. The ferry's whistle blew again as it went through a swampy area and Fred got footage through a window in the captain's cabin.
"Gosh, i'd sure hate to get lost in here." Fred says
"Well, way back in the 1700s, pirates used this bayou to hide from the law. They know only a FOOL would come a-loonkin' up in here" Jacques explained
"And Morgan Moonscar was one of those pirates?" Velma asks
"He was the most famous one. him." Jacques answers
