After a few minutes of driving, they drive along a bumpy road. By the time the road stopped being bumpy, Scooby had ended up on top of Shaggy. They then get closer to a mansion from years ago. They also drive past a woman in a white cloak and a man in usual gardener clothes
"Wow, there's our haunted house." Blake said
"Are you getting all of this, Fred?" Daphne asks as she drives
"Yep, got it Daph. Wow, Lena wasn't kidding, this place is crawling with cats." Fred said looking around with the camera
"Rcats??" Scooby says
Scooby then comes out from the back seat, grabs the camera, and looks around at all the cats. Something felt off about the cats to him so he tossed the camera into Fred's lap and jumped out through the window and started chasing the cats.
"Come back, Scoob!!" Shaggy yells
First, Scooby chases the cats under s porch of the mansion making the floorboards come up as he does so. Then, he ends up breaking flower pots the gardener had set up. Dirt ends up coming up from the ground and hitting him in the face.
"Hey you mutt, I just planted those!" The gardener shouts
Scooby chases the cats under a planter made of wood and gets stuck in one of the back wheels.
"Scooby, leave them alone!" Daphne shouts as everyone runs to get a hold of Scooby to stop him
One of the cats Scooby was chasing meows and blows him a raspberry. Scooby growls and managed to get unstuck from the wheel but breaks the planter and one of the potted plants goes flying and Shaggy ends up catching it.
"Great with cats, huh?" Lena scoffs
Shaggy then tossed the plant aside and yells, "Scooby-Doo, stop!!!!"
"I spent a whole week on that planter!" The gardener shouts not very happy
Next thing him and the girl in the white cloak knew, they ended up getting knocked over by Scooby while he was chasing one of the cats. He then stops chasing the cats for a second, helps them up and dusts them off.
"Recxcuse me." Scooby said before going back to chasing the cats
Scooby ended up heading right for a woman, roughly the same age as Lena, with blonde hair, blue eyes, a blue dress, white heels, white pants, and a cat medalion pendant. He tried to stop but couldn't and ended up ramming right into her.
"Mrs. Lenoir!" Lena says as she ran over to help her employer
"Come on, let's get Scooby before things get any worse." Ruby says
Mystery Inc. and the huntresses ran over and grabbed Scooby and held him back by the collar.
After getting up, Mrs. Lenoir yelled saying, "Who brought this--this...dog?!?!?"
"Rdog? Where?" Scooby says looking around not aware she was talking about him
"In terribly sorry, ma'am. We should have held onto him better. I'm Daphne Blake, of Coast to Coast." Daphne explained
Simone, the first name for Lena's employer, raised an eyebrow as there wasn't television on Moonscar Island
"The TV show." Daphne adds
"We do not have television on my island." Simone says and she turned to Lena and says, "Lena, what are they doing here?"
"It's all my fault, Mrs. Lenoir. I heard these folks say they wanted to see a real haunted house. So I thought...." Lena started
"You might show them mine. I see. Really Lena." Simone finishes
"But, I must say, your house is simply beautiful, Mrs. Lenoir." Blake says
"Yeah, picture perfect." Fred says
"How old is it if you don't mind me asking?" Weiss asks
"It has been in my family for generations. It was a pepper plantation. Some of the hottest peppers in Louisiana grow on this island." Simone answers
"Like, we've hit the proverbial chili pepper jackpot." Shaggy says
"So Mrs. Lenoir, is your house really....." Velma starts
"Haunted? Yes. It is an old house with restless spirits." Simone finishes
Shaggy and Scooby look at each other with a couple of 'that-doesn't-sound-good' faces.
"You're welcome to look around, if you'd like." Simone says in a manner that makes Blake's cat ears twitch a little
"Would we ever. Do you mind us taping?" Daphne asks
"No, of course not. In fact, I'd be most flattered." Simone answers
Fred loads a fresh tape into the camera as everyone walked up the steps. Even Scooby and the white cloaked woman.
"But, you'll have to do something about your.....dog." Simone adds
"Food always keeps Scooby occupied." Ruby says
"If it'll keep him from chasing my cats, you're welcome to the kitchen." Simone says
"Groovy! Come on, Scoob." Shaggy says as him and Scooby go to look for the kitchen
"Sorry about all the damage, Lena." Blake apologizes.
"Don't worry. Beau will take care of it." The white cloaked girl says
"Beau??" the detectives ask in unison.
"The gardener." the cloaked girl answers
"Who are you, may I ask?" Ruby asks
"Rose. Everyone calls me Rose." Rose replied as she entered the mansion
