PREVIOUSLY...
Just after Fred had shut the back doors to The Mystery Machine, a zombie's hand touched Daphne's shoulder and out of instinct, she flung it onto the ground revealing a whole zombie was there. Ruby jumped back when she saw it was the zombie she had shot earlier, somehow without the wound from the shot.
"I bet you it's the gardener." Fred said
"We'll just see about that." Blake stated
Just then, Shaggy and Scooby came out of the bushes.
"Shaggy? Scooby? Where'd you two come from?" Daphne asked
Shaggy sat up and before he could explain, he saw the zombie and scrambled to his feet and hid behind Fred.
"Take it easy, Shag, it's just a mask." Fred stated as he pulled out the camera and started recording
Daphne walked over to the zombie and started pulling on it's head as if she was pulling on a mask but nothing was happening.
"If this is a mask Fred, it's a pretty damn good one." Daphne said
"Are you kidding? It's the fakest, cheesiest mask i've ever seen." Fred replied
"Really?" Daphne replied with an eyebrow raised before backing up. "But it feels real."
"You're just not pulling hard enough." Fred says
"Okay, Mr. Macho, why don't you try it?" Blake says
"Sure." Fred replies as he hands the camera to Shaggy. "Hold this, Shag."
Fred walks over to the zombie and starts pulling on the head.
"It's the gardener." Fred said, trying to pull off the zombie's head, believing it to be a mask
"No....." Blake, Daphne, Rose, and Yang say in response
"It's the fisherman....." Fred says while still pulling on the zombie's head
"That's highly likely, but still wrong." Ruby states
"It's the ferryman." Fred says, still pulling on the zombie's head
"No." Scooby and Shaggy respond in unison.
"Maybe it's...." Fred started, eventually pulling the head clean off. ".....real."
Fred tossed the head to Daphne, who tossed it to Yang, who tossed it to Ruby, who tossed it to Scooby, who smacked it back over to the body as Fred backed away getting the camera from Shaggy.
"I told you it wasn't a mask!!" Daphne stated, fear being in her voice
"It must be animatronic!!" Fred stated, trying to think of a logical explanation
The zombie then grabbed it's head and put it on upside down as distant moaning was then heard. The wind started picking up. Shaggy, Scooby, Blake, Ruby, Yang, Daphne, Fred, and Rose all looked around as the wind got faster.
"Fred, are you getting all of this?" Blake asks
Fred looks around with the camera and some green spirit-like energy swirls and dips right into the lake. The zombie that Fred had pulled the head off of, after having straightened it's head, gets up as zombies rise from the lake and the ground.
"Zoinks! It's deja vu all over again. And we know what to do, right Scoob?" Shaggy asks his canine pal
"Reah, run!!" Scooby answers as him, Ruby, Yang, and Scooby start running
The four friends come up to a lake and more zombies come out. Along with some really slow Apathy in the distance
"Yikes!!" Shaggy screams
