At the dining table, Lena lit candles then stepped into another room for a second.
"Your dining room is beautiful, Simone." Daphne stated
"Thank you, Daphne. Simone responded as she sat down. "But i'm afraid your.....dog will have to eat in the kitchen."
"Like, come on, Scoob. We'll chow down in the kitchen." Shaggy said as he brought Scooby to the kitchen
After Shaggy and Scooby got to the kitchen, Fred tried some of the gumbo.
"Mmm, this gumbo is delicious." Fred said
"And these biscuits....light as a feather." Yang said as she ate a biscuit
There was a short pause.
"Where's Beau?" Daphne asked
"He usually eats dinner in his room above the carriage house." Simone answered
"I brought him some food but...he wasn't there." Lena explained
"Figures......" Fred quietly said to himself
IN THE KITCHEN
In the kitchen, a few of Simone's cats were eating. Out of nowhere, Scooby starts growling and Shaggy tries to hold him back. However, Scooby slips out of Shaggy's hands and runs off after the cats down the hallway.
"Scooby-Doo!!!" Shaggy called out as he chased after Scooby
IN THE DINING ROOM
"Exactly how long have Beau and Rose been working for you, Mrs. Lenoir?" Weiss asked
"Several months." Simone responded. "And it's Simone, Weiss."
"Well, I think the two are pretty suspicious." Fred responded
"They had excellent references." Simone stated
Out of nowhere, a loud thump was heard catching the attention of Fred, Velma, Daphne Blake, Yang, Weiss, Simone, Lena, and Ruby and they all looked over to see Shaggy and Scooby on the floor with bowls on their heads.
"Like, I don't think the kitchen was such a good idea." Shaggy said. "Y'know, CATS."
"That is QUITE ENOUGH!! the dog will have to eat OUTSIDE!!!" Simone snapped
"Routside!?!?!? RNuh-uh!" Scooby states as he gulps
"Like, there's a dead guy out there!!!" Shaggy adds
"I have an idea, you two." Ruby said as she got up
LATER
Outside the house, in the back of The Mystery Machine, Ruby, Shaggy, and Scooby were eating some biscuits, gumbo, and some crawdad fish.
"Like, this is a lot quieter, you two." Shaggy stated as he took the lid off the pot of the crawdads
"Also, Lena was nice enough to make us a special dish to go." Ruby said
They then ate the meat out of some crawdad fish.
"Nothing like a good old fashioned crawfish boil." Shaggy said
Scooby then picked up a whole handful of them and chomped down on the crawdads with the shells still on them. After a bit of chewing, he spat out the empty shells as if he was a turret gun opening fire. Luckily, no one got hit and nothing was damaged.
Shaggy grabbed the plate of biscuits and handed Scooby one. "Here buddy, have a biscuit."
"RThanks." Scooby said as he ate the biscuit he was offered
