"Happy birthday dear 'Loniiii! Happy birthday to youuuu." the party goers sang as I walked into the party late sitting my gift on the table.

"I can't believe you're one already." I said causing everybody to look at me in shock, not expecting me to be there.

"You're slick with it." Damia said hugging me.

"I know." I said giving her a hug back before hugging everybody else. "Where is Sekani?"

Sekani was going on 5 months this month. Damia decided to name him Sekani because it means joy. It was the joy that he had brought her after Jayceon was killed.

"He's sleeping. That's all he do. Just like his damn daddy." Damia laughed and I joined her.

"I love him, his little face."

"He stole Jay's whole face. Like Christian did Diddy." Mom laughed causing more laughing to come from the others.

"Loniii." I said kissing her cheek making her try to kiss mine with the cake on her mouth. "I don't think so baby, try again when your face is a little bit cleaner." I said wiping the cake from my lips that I got from her cheek.

"You went to college and straight ghosted us, you fake." Kiyah said giving me a slight mug.

"I called to check up on you guys. I'm not that far away. I've just been busy but now it's time for me to chill with y'all again." I said rubbing my hands together.

"Ohhh and I got a baby sitter. Can you say 'hot girl summer'?" Kayla said twerking some causing Kiyah and I to join in.

"This is a kids party. Chill." Dill said grabbing Kiyah and Kayla laughed.

"And she still dancing." Kayla said pointing at me.

The music in the back didn't make it no better. It felt good to be able to finally get to be around them some more. I wasn't able to juggle them and school so I was strictly with school.

"You let them college people change you? When you start dancing like that? That's some new shit." Lucas said coming out of the backyard causing me to run and jump up on him.

Of course we talk, but it was a difference between seeing him in person and on FaceTime. Well, other than the times I would sneak him in the dorm when my roommate would leave.

"I've missed youuuu." I said kissing him.

"I missed you too." he said putting me down wrapping his arm around my waist. "Can we eat some cake now? The weed settling in now."

"Always high." Kiyah shook her head.

"Bro, you finished your blunt before me. I thought we was cool, yo fat headed ass went and started smoking before I got the chance to." he said mugging her causing me to laugh.

They could always be found smoking together and by time you did find them, they were baked.
