Caleb

Liv and I enter the grand party hall, seemingly the first ones here. Well, I wouldn't say the first ones here, considering there were over two hundred people here, but we were the first of our group.

This was one of the very rare times Liv got ready in under an hour. She was stereotypical  in that sense, she took forever to get ready.

Liv instantly needed to pee when we got here, leaving me standing around looking for a familiar face. I spot my dad and Adam first.

"Kazer," Adam grin at me as he shakes my hand and we hug. Regardless of what happened with Bailey and I, we were still just as close with each other's families.

"Whats up Adam," I laugh, I didn't get a chance to actually talk to him last night "Hey dad," I greet my dad with hug

"Your old mans been telling me about football all day, couldn't wait to actually talk to you about it" Adam laughs

"Ah yeah, it's good, we start training in July, so I'm gonna be down here running drills at the Houston facility for the overlapping week but as soon as I get home everything is back on," I tell him. Football schedule was insane, we had trainings almost everyday all day, practices for hours and then once the seasons in full swing, games every Sunday or during the week. I love it though, it keeps me busy. After years of doing it, I'm used to it by now.

"That's fuckin awesome,"Adam laughs "I'm proud of you, kid,"

"Thanks Adam" I genuinely smile at him. I never realized how much I really missed him and Cheri until I left.

"Oh I just saw Danny and Spencer walk in with Ty and Wes. I gotta go tell the bartender to put a limit on Ty" Adam states as my dad chuckles and walks away a with him. I go over to join the guys. Quickly looking around for Liv who I couldn't seem to find anywhere.

"What's up Co?" Wes greets

"Not much, not like we didn't just see each other like an hour ago" I grin at him "I didn't actually get to talk to any of y'all though," I glance around at the other three.

"Things have been busy, we all get it," He chuckles "Shit, I mean Danny's even got a kid,"

"Yeah speaking of which, Danny where's your daughter?" I question. The little girl was possibly the cutest child I'd met in my life, she reminded me a lot of Bails when we were kids.

"Oh she's back with your nieces and nephews," Danny's shrugs "She'd be bored out of her mind here,"

"Hell I'm fuckin bored," Ty whines

"That's because you have the maturity level of a four year old" Wes scoffs, "C'mon lets go get a drink," he states pushing Ty away, Spencer following them, laughing. Leaving Danny and I.

I watch, looking around taking in everyone. It was weird, since when did our families do formal?

I notice the look on Danny's face too. He just looked surprised at the masses of people around us.

"It's a lot I know," I grin "My mom and Cheri don't know what small means,"

"Nah it's awesome, Bails warned us of the insanity," Danny chuckles, "I never grew up with this so it's really cool to see I guess,"

"Uh-How's sh-everything been?" I slightly stutter as I ask him this, "I mean how has everything been the passed few years?" I try to cover up, but based on his face, I didn't do a good job of it.

Real smooth Caleb.

He just smirks "Things have been good. In case you're wondering, She's been okay too. She's just...well, Bailey I guess. Burying herself in work, spoiling Danielle, trying to beat every person in our fuckin resident class," he rolls his eyes at that last bit and I can't help but smile. Typical Bailey.
