I sat in gym class waiting for the teacher to stop talking so I could get ready for the little game we would get to play. I stood up, stretching so that I could get ready for kick ball. "(Y/n) could you please sit." I looked at the teacher and continued on. "Just getting ready for kick ball." I said as I stretched my arm. "I changed that we're doing a 'real' game of basketball." I sat down defeated that we wouldn't be playing kick ball, but still happy enough because we would be playing basketball. I was kicked away from my emotions when someone spoke. "Yeah, as real as it could get, half of the girls here are doing their make up or blabbing about the latest boys and gossip." I turned around to see a girl with boy short chocolate brown hair, a yellow hoodie and grey sweats on. She turned to her friends and high-fived them. "Sorry we don't care about your needs of making a little game real enough for you." Ashley said as she shut her make up mirror. "I'm sorry I get annoyed about all the boys you blab about." "Sorry non of the girls here wanna date you." Thats when water went flying at Ashley splashing some of her but most of me. I stood up and looked up at the girl. "Sorry I got in the way." I said as I walked out to go get new cloths. "Embarrassing." I mumbled to myself. (Time skip)
I stood there waiting for the ball to come to my person when the girl who splashed me rushed the ball down. I sprinted to her and planted my feet to the grown as she ran right into me, knocking me straight to the ground. The teacher whistled and the girl helped me up. I walked to the side line and Alannah passed m the ball. Everyone was still getting ready an I took the opportunity to charge the ball to the hoop. I raced to the hoop and that's when the girl stepped in front of me. Knocking us both down. I sat there for a moment looking down at her as she looked back at me she smirked. "Real enough for you." "Yeah and now we are both even on the charges." I smiled at her and got up helping her up as well. "Okay ladies times up go get ready for your other classes." I walked to the locker rooms and started getting changed when I remembered that girl got my clothes drenched. "Got any spare clothes?" I asked as she walked in. "Yeah I do, and by the way my name is Maihua." She said as she pulled out a white t-shirt with black ripped jeans.

I smiled and walked to the back to change into my clothing. When I came back out I saw people giving me weird looks. I just rolled my eyes and walked back to my spot. "Thank you, again..." I said as I through my bag on. "Oh uh yeah." I smiled back at her and took off after my friend. "Hey (f/n) wait up!" I ran up to her side and smiled at her when I got there. She looked me up and down. "Hot." "Woah I am NOT hot." I said as I looked down at the cloths. "Yeah well Maihua and I say otherwise." She tiled her head and I looked over to see Maihua staring at me. I summed up the courage and called her over. "Come hangout with us." I said making direct eye contact. (Time skip) after class I met up with Maihua and (f/n) in the spot we said we would meet. I quietly walked up hoping to scare them. I was so quiet I could hear them talking. "So how much longer do you plan to wait to ask her out." "I don't know she didn't even know I existed until now." "Sure she did tats just how she gets to know people is pretend to not know them." I heard Maihua sigh. "Don't tell her I told you but she has secretly had a crush on you for a while now, tonight you can make your move bro!" I stood there for a moment, star struck that my life time crush likes me back and that my best friend was trying to get her to ask me out. "Hey y'all!" I said as I turned the corner. The both jumped and looked at me with wide eyes. "What? Scare yuh!?" I said laughing my ass off. They both started laughing and I couldn't help but look at Maihua as she laughed. When she looked up I looked away. "Hey we should go to a party!" (F/n) suggested. Maihua and I just looked at each other. "Alright." Is all she said as she took my hand and followed (f/n). (Time skip) I looked at (f/n) as she made a fool of herself. "Maybe just maybe you could take a break from dancing." I joked. She pulled me off the couch and danced with me. "Let loose dude." I nodded and continued to dance. I just couldn't shake the feeling of someone watching me. "Hey I am going to leave." (F/n) just looked at me and danced off with someone. "Wanna go with me?" I asked Maihua but she didn't hear me and I watched her dance off with another girl. Great, I thought as I walked outside. I stepped out into the hot air of L.A. I stood there for a moment and started to walk. I got to the stop sign when (f/n) started calling me, I pulled out my phone and heard maihua's voice. "Where did you go?" She shouted onto the phone. "I'm going home, I just got bored." "Okay well where are you?" "I'm at the stop sign." I answered and the line went dead. I sat on the curb and a person walked up. "Hey." I turned around to see Jackson. I sighed and smiled at him. "Hey, what's up?" I asked trying to be polite. "Just couldn't keep my eyes off you." "Mhm." "We should so date, we would make the perfect popular couple." "You see I don't want that I like someone else already." He seemed to get a bit mad at my rejection and it may have been a bit funny. I stood up and he grabbed my hand. I pulled away and saw Maihua coming. "See that right there." I whispered to him. He nodded and I smiled. "Yeah that um thats my crush." I looked up at him and he made the most disgusted face at me. "We that's fucking nasty." I just rolled my eyes and walked up to Maihua. "Why did he say you're nasty?" "Oh uh I said something..." I said smiling trying to sound as convincing as possible. "Like, you don't have to hide anything from me we are practically friends." "Okay fine, I said I liked this really cute girl." I saw a flash of sadness pass through her eyes. "Who?" She said playing it cool. "This girl, she is a bit taller than me, she is in all my classes, she is smart, ans just all around everything with amazing mixed in." I said describing Maihua. "Oh yeah she seems amazing." "Yeah, you know her....VERY, VERY well." I hinted. "Okay well now you have to tell me." "But if I tell you I will have to...kiss you." I said winking at her. She smiled. "Well then I really wanna know." I smiled at her and laughed a bit. "Over there, that's my place." I said as we walked closer. She took my hand and pulled me to another part of the apartment complex. "How bout my place." She said as she opened the door to her place. I walked in and was hit by the smell of a tropical smell. She closed the door and when I turned around to her she was leaning against it. "Alright spill." She said as she looked me in the eyes. Damn how can someone be so hot? I though to myself. "You..." She didn't move, she didn't look shocked. But my heart was racing faster than the speed of light. "Same here." She said as she walked closer. "Now about that kiss."
