Maihua's pov:
This hurt to have to start over, but I would do anything to have her on my side. She held out her hand and I took it. She took her dirtied, and ripped dress in her hands and curtsied. I smiled at her and bowed. " You look lovely, (y/n)." She smiled at me and our hands disconnected, I sighed and turned around.

Your pov:
" Let's go home." I said taking her hand in mine and walking. I didn't look back, but I kept going. I was stopped and i turned back around. Our lips connected and my heart fell. She pulled away and took my hands in hers. "We made a promise as kids..." I looked away remembering what we made a pact on. " I'm very aware of that, but we should start over by first canceling the wedding and see where this all takes us." She nodded and we kept walking. " How did you recognize me?" I asked looked at her. Her face went red and she looked down. " I kept a picture of you...the one you gave me.." I turned red and looked away. "How about you?" I nervously laughed and rubbed the back of my neck. " I have it, but you look different." I said looking away. She laughed and pulled me closer. " You know you've change too." I smiled and out my hand around her shoulders. "Well yeah, I grew up to fast!" "Um no, I did I had to watch over you." I looked at her and rolled my eyes. "Please, it's the other way around." She bumped me and I tripped. She came falling down with me and she fell on me. "You're heavy." I groaned, she laughed and sat up. " Never, princess." She helped me up and smiled at me. I was half way up when she let go. Water splashed everywhere and I quickly moved over. " Why are you trashing this dress more." I stood up and pushed her, she grabbed my hands and hugged me. " What's the point, we're not getting married." " What if I want to?" I said poking my finger I to her chest. " Then catch me!" I watched as she took off and I followed. My heels made it hard to run but I kept going. I jumped over a puddle but slipped. I reached out and grabbed her shirt. She fell with me and we ended up with mud everywhere. "I caught you.." I said standing up, dripping in mud. She looked up and me and smiled. " You sure did, wife."

Random person:
I looked over the flowers and smiled. I poked Sho and pointed to the princess and King.
" They're the same as ever." She laughed and we went back to work.

Maihua's pov:
She helped me up and my heart raced when she did. I didn't let go of her hand and we raced to the castle together. We're still kids, so why not act like kids for a few minutes. She laughed as we ran and I smiled, we clicked together again after years of not seeing each other. I spun her around to face me and I kissed her cheek. "Go get dressed, we're gonna have dinner soon." She nodded and walked up the stairs. I turned around and smiled to myself. I missed this...I missed her.

Your pov:
I walked to my closet and grabbed a pretty dress.

Dress:

I took a quick shower and then out the dress on. I walked down the hall and to the stairs to see Maihua in another suit waiting for me, impatiently.

Suit:

I began to walk down the stairs when she stood up and looked at me. We are grow women, but what's the harm in bring a kid of a few hours. I got to the bottom step and jumped into her arms. She spun us around and I kissed her without thinking about it. She out me down and I turned bright red. " Sorry, I was-" her lips met mine and then she got down on one knee. " Don't worry this isn't a proposal, but it's a promise ring."

Ring:

It was small and cute but also familiar. " It's small, because it's the promise ring we had when we we're little." I smiled at her and got down on my knees as well. " I love you, king." Our lips met and I melted. We pulled away and we stood up. She put the ring around my neck and I held it in my hand. " Let's go eat." I nodded and we walked to the dinner. (Time skip!) We walked out if the dinner and our hands met. We walked around and out of the castle. " So why did you leave randomly?" I asked her. She looked at me and then away. "It was the war and family stuff, I wished to meet with you everyday.." I out my head on her arm and the looked at her. "Same..I missed you terribly but then I got to busy and just kinda forgot...and then I found out our king was actually female and I ignored it...that is until you chose me." She laughed and we walked through the flower gardens. "I was forced to take in a concubine and I just so happened to come past you one day and thought you looked very familiar, turns out you were a crush I had growing up." She sound me around and stuck a flower in my hair. " When we get married I will give you more than you already have." I smiled at her and we kissed. " No need for that when my world is right here."
