A loud bang came from the window and a sharp scream shattered through the house. My eyes widened and I looked over to Jenny to see her eyes were closed. His footsteps got closer and closer and he opened the closet. He held his knife up and stabbed her. The screen faded to black and the credits started rolling. I looked at Jenny and she started laughing. "That was shit..." She said trying to play I off cool. I began to laugh and our other three roommates came out of their rooms. I met maihua's eyes and she quickly looked away. I rolled my eyes and me and Jenny stood up. Horror movies suck!" Cj said. I looked over to Jenny to see her mouth wide open. "You suck..." He laughed at us and winked I went a bit re but laughed. "Childish." Ari spoke as she grabbed a glass of water. I looked at her and she had he back to me. These were my friends, and we were a family. " You say that until you're in that situation." I winked. A felt a yawn creep up and I rubbed my eyes. "Maybe you should get some sleep." Maihua said smiling. "I'll sleep better if you're there." I joked. "Guess I'm having a sleep over." She winked, I laughed a bit and walked to my room. I changed into my pajamas  and took care of myself so that I could have a good night's rest. I laid down in my bed and curled up and looked at my phone. Nothing new nothing interesting popped up I sighed a bit bored and that's when my door opened. I sat up and was met with maihua's eyes. She smiled at me and closed my door. I looked her up and down as she was only in baggy sweatpants and a sports bra. My heart started to race and she ran and jumped at me. I closed my eyes and felt us bounce and her arms wrap around me. A light blush threatened to kiss my face but I didn't let it happen. "You said you would sleep better...so here I am." She laughed, I thought for a moment and then began to laugh. I wasn't lying when I said that. She laid down and I laid down to, I scooted over quite a bit as she laid next to me. The butterflies in my stomach were fluttering like crazy and my heart was racing at a million miles per hour. A dorky smile met my lips and I couldn't stop it. "What you smiling about." She said poking my cheek. I looked over to her and giggled a bit. "nothing just remembered how Jenny closed her eyes." She cocked an eyebrow and smiled. "Scoot closer I don't bite." She said pretending to bite. I scooted closer and she hugged me. She smelled so good and I could feel myself literally melt. Her breathing slowed down and came to a steady rhythm. I looked up to see she was asleep. I slowly creeped out if her arms and to my door, I looked back and turned off the lights. A small groan escaped her lips and a small laugh escaped mine. I continued to walk until I reached my bed. I crawled back to my spot and I cuddled nicely under the blanket. I could feel her arm wrap around me again and she scooted closer, bringing our bodies together. (Time skip!) A loud crash came from the livingroom waking me up. I sat still for a moment and then heard a voice, one that wasn't one of my roommates. My body froze with a clod sweat. I shook Maihua awake and she looked at me sleepily. "Maihua someone broke in." She quickly sat up and ripped the covers off. I grabbed her hand and pulled her back down. "What the fuck are you doing!?" I whispered. She looked at ME like I was the Crazy one. "Stoping them duh." "What if they have a gun!" She rolled her eyes and walked to the door. She quickly and quietly woke up all the roommates. CJ stood up and grabbed a bat while Jenny, Ari, and I grabbed out pocket knifes I also grabbed my phone and dialed 911. Maihua and CJ blocked us as I talked to the police. That's when we heard the bathroom door open and the guy say. "Come out!" My eyes widened and I looked over to Ari. Tears rolled down her face and I hugged her. "ARI~" he sang. I got up and ran to the door and locked it. A loud bang came from the door scaring me and making me fall to the ground. "Fuck off!" CJ yelled. The door shook as another bang came from it. Then his foot came from the other side. Ari and Jenny screamed as Maihua ushered us into my bathroom. I pushed my way out and saw he was kicking even more. My door became a frame as he crawled through it I ran up to him and stabbed his back and pulled the knife back out. "fuck off perv!" I said as he screamed. He looked up and the crazy look in his eyes touched my soul. "You're dead bitch." He said smiling. He stood up and tried running at me but CJ grabbed him. He shoved him to the ground I flinched and looked down at him as he struggled. He looked at me and grabbed my ankle. He pulled on me making Maihua and CJ focus on me. He punched CJ in the face knocking him over. The man kept up holding onto me. He smiled at me. "You're hot, I want you and the two girls." I kneed him in the balls running to the bathroom. I locked the door and Jenny and Ari wrapped their arms around me. I sat us down and I looked into their eyes. "Close you're eyes, forget about everything..." Ari shook her head and I gripped her hand more. "You'll be okay, this is just scary dream...everything with be okay." A loud crash came from the room making me jump. "Just listen to my voice, clear your mind...take a deep breath and let it out." Both their grips got loose. "We're at the beach in our bathing suits, eating ice cream. Hey Jenny remember when you spilled it all over your chest." A small giggle escaped her lips. "Yeah." Curse words flew everywhere. Tears rolled down my cheeks. " Yeah that was funny, the palm trees danced in the light wind and the beautiful blue sky and bright sun danced with our happiness. The birds sang and the ocean called the sand and held it's hand...our hair dance with the tree's an ur laughs blew in the wind. Our smiled shone like the Stars in the darkest of nights. We walked....and we continued." Their grips loosened even more. I opened my eyes to see them leaning against the wall.
"We continued."
