I ran into her that day, not knowing that she would mean so much to me.
(One hour after)
I sat in the classroom waiting very impatiently for my time to be up. "Sit down and start acting your age!" I looked up to see the same girl I ran into earlier.
(One hour before detention)
I raced down the hall trying to get to my next class. I saw where I was and and turned the corner. A waterfall of books and papers went everywhere. I fell to the floor with a loud groan. As the papers floated to the floor I quickly sat up and grabbed a bunch of my papers. I collected my books and stood up. I held out my hand hand helped up the girl that I knocked over. "Sorry!" I said as I raced to my classroom. I stepped inside and the bell rang. "Late again Miss (l/n) (last name)." The teacher said impatiently tapping his foot. "Turn in your work and sit down."he said pointing to the homework basket. I opened my folder and saw it wasn't in there. A wind of dread and sorrow blew over me. I looked all over the place but couldn't find it. The collision, I thought. "I don't have it..." "Then detention for you." I sighed knowing that detention started after this class was over. I sat down and waited for the class to end. (Time skip)
I sat down waiting for the time to end but it seemed as if the clock was going by so slow. I sat there thinking about how I could get out of here and that's when my idea walked through the door. "Sit down and act your age!" The teacher said harshly pointing to a chair. "I think I'll take this one." The girl said walking up to the desk next to mine. The teacher rolled her eyes and left. As she sat down she held out a folded paper. "You left this, I couldn't find you so I waited till now." I smiled at her and grabbed my homework. "Actually I could have found you....but I wanted to get to know you." "Yeah what better place than detention." I said laughing a bit. I then thought of my idea and leaned over to whisper in her ear. And as if on que she grabbed my hand and walked me over to a window. "Ladies first." She said as she opened it up. "Why thank you." "Anytime, baby girl." She said winking at me. I looked away and crawled or more like stepped out of the classroom, tje girl right behind me. "So what's the name?" I asked genuinely interested. "Maihua and you?" "(Y/n)." I said proudly. "Cute name for you, baby girl." "Alright if it makes you happy." "It does but you know what would make me even more happy." "Huh?" She smiled at me and grabbed my hand. "Is if we get outta here." And just then the teacher stormed into the classroom shouting at us. "Calls for another detention." I laughed as we ran off. When we stopped I looked around to the place and we were on train tracks. "Hey um bug...can I call you that?" "Yeah sure." I smiled and bumped her a little bit. "So why wait until detention to get to know me?" "Well, bug you see I need those answers and you got them, and it was to late to get it to you and I thought of what a better time than detention." She was honest and I liked that. "Why did you wanna sneak out?" "Because it's always good to try new things." "With people you just met?" "You're in my school." "I can still harm you bug." I rolled my eyes and she just laughed. "You trust me that much?" "It's called living a little babe." I mocked. She looked away and I swear I saw her blush a little. "Alright, where should we go now?" I thought about it and had no ideas. "How about my place?" She suggested. I smiled and willing left with her. When we got to an apartment complex I took a mental note. Just casue I acted as if I trusted her you still always have to be alert. We stepped up to a door and she unlocked it. When Maihua opened the door to her place a strong smell hit me. Cologne? I thought to myself. We stepped inside and the place was just like any other place. "Alright wanna watch a movie?" "Why not." I said finding my way to her couch. I sat down and looked at Maihua as she moved around. When she put on the movie she plopped her self down on the couch, she put her arm around me and pulled me close. I looked up at her and she just winked at me and looked to the TV. (Time skip) close to the end of the movie I felt maihua's head on my shoulder. "Sorry...just tired." "Then sleep, but you can't trust everyone." I teased she sat up straight and looked at me. "You are right. Well guess we have to go somewhere safe." She intertwined our hands and lead me to her room. "This is your safe place." "Not really..." "Oh then what is..." I teased. "My bed, and now it's your place. " Maihua said winking. "Oh really so is it now my safe place." "Nah." "Oh then what is?" I played around with her as she sat me on the bed and bent over to whisper in my ear. "My arms." I laughed as she laid me down and wrapped her arms around me. "You sure are all cuddly flirty for someone you just met." I said as I looked at her. "Yeah I know but I just can't let a cute girl walk away with out getting the chance to know me." She said as she adjusted herself. "Do you always do this?" "No you're the first." "Well there is always a first for everything." I said playing with her short curly hair. (Time skip) I opened my eyes as Maihua quickly sat up from the bed. "Shit!" I heard her say as she ran out of the room. I followed her. I stepped into the hallway to see a tall figure standing at the end of it. Scared out of my mind I stepped back inside. I sat on the bed and closed my eyes. Scared and about to shit myself I sat quietly. That's when I felt arms wrap around me and pull me close. I looked up to see Maihua smiling ack down at me but her lip was split. "Woah what happened!?" I said sitting up, still saying close to her. "I was running from my friend out there, she saw you and freaked out and I hit the wall and my lip busted." "Sounds far fetched but alright." She hugged me into her chest, I could hear her heart beating fast. I just met this girl and something really creepy just happened. I sat there for a moment longer and that's when I heard a deep raspy voice speak, very quietly. "Maihua, come out..."

You see this was supposed to be cute but I got carried away. Sorry if this sucked I somewhat hate it. Sorry I have been slow with updates I am tryin y'all. Thank you for reading nightcrawlers!
