I have always loved watching scary movies. But I have always hated clowns. Just the thought of them gave me the shivers. And tonight Maihua and I were going to watch the IT two movie, usually I would be excited but I really wasn't. It was for our third anniversary so I just pretended to be excited. I was sitting on my couch zoning when a loud ringing woke me. I grabbed my phone to see Maihua's name, after being with her for so long I still get butterflies and smile like a dork.
Hey you beautiful angel you ready yet?

Been ready, just a second I'ma grab my hoodie!

No need angel I got my hoodie for you, I'm outside.

Okay be out in a sec.

I got up excited to wear her hoodie! I always get excited because she always smells so good. I smiled as I walked down the stairs and out the door. Locking it behind me. I couldn't see anything which was kinda spooky. A loud crunch came from behind me and I quickly turned around to see nothing. "BOO!" I screamed at the top of my lungs and fell to the ground. " Babe chill it's only me." I heard Maihua say as she gently helped me up. "Not cool dude." "No it wasn't but it was really freaking funny though!" She said as she started to laugh.

(Maihua's pov)

I opened and closed the door for (Y/N). Still laughing a little I got into the drivers side. "You excited for the movie love?" I asked putting my hand on her thigh. "Yeah can't wait!" She exclaimed with joy. This made me so happy. I have wait so long for this movie. I smiled from ear to ear. I parked the car and turned to look at her. "I love you." I saw her smile and it made me want to kiss her. "I love you to." I leaned in and kissed her gently on her lips. Feeling her smile while she kissed me made me happy. We go out and she ran to my side. I grabbed her hand and we walked side by side to the theater. I could feel her latch to my arm as I paid for the tickets. I smiled more and we headed to get sacks and then go fun our seat. "I'll be right back love." He hand tightened and then she let go. "Do you want to join me?" "No I'll be fine." I kissed her forehead and walked to the front to get some drinks. I smirked as I left, I love this girl.

(Your pov)

I sat there, scared out of my pants. Only hopping for Maihua to come back. "Hey baby." I turned around to see her walking in with two drinks. "Hey!" She sat down and I took my drink and took a quick drink. I grabbed her hand and put it in my lap. "You okay?" "Yeah why wouldn't I be?!" I quickly questioned. Breath (y/n) breath. The movie started and I calmed down a bit.
(Skip to the scary part.) I sat there eating my popcorn and being fully invested in the movie.
When the back of a huge lumber Jack statue shows on the screen. Showing younger Richie sitting down, rubbing his face. And then comes a deep voice and Richie looks up. Then the statue disappears and I cover my face with fear. As a the camera on over to the side showing the evil being I scream a bit. I can hear other screams and laughter. I look over to see Maihua laughing at me. I stand up and walk out scare and shanking badly. Seeing that scared me and seeing that damn clown scared me, I had enough of it. I felt someone out their arm around me. "Are you okay?" "Nah dude I think I just peed myself." I said shakily laughing and hugging her. I could feel her giggle into my hug. "Can we go home, please." "Sure."
She took my hand and led me to the car.

(Maihua's pov)

When we got to (y/n) house she plopped herself on her bed. I crawled in after her and laid my head on her shoulder. "Was that movie that scary?" "Yes..." She said pretending to pout. I got up and kissed her on the lips. "But I thought you never got sacred at scary movies!" I said sarcastically. "Okay but I'm scared of clowns and that movie just gave me a week's worth of nightmares." I laid back down and she laid her head on my chest. "I'll stay here for the week then." "Yes~" I heard her whisper. I smiled and kissed her head. Soon both of us fell asleep in each other's arms.
