Chapter 3

Alex POV

As much as I don't want to admit it I really liked his smile. One side lifts up a little more then the other and it is just affective. I can see why his dad was bragging about him. I hated myself for it but I think that I was starting to like a freaking jock. Shalin would hate me for it too. She had pretty much claimed him for her own. Whatever I would figure it out.

It was time for church and I knew that Colton would be there.

I dressed in a black dress that went down to my knees and was very curve hugging, a silver belt and silver high healed shoes.

I told myself that I would not pay to much attention to him today and that today was just like any other. Haha yeah right. When they got to church my mom immediately invited them to sit with us. Colton sat on one side of me and Rachel on the other with Anya almost trying to sit on his lap. 14 year-olds are so attention wanting. I tried to listen, I did! But with Colton getting as far away as possible form Anya and closer to me it was difficult. So I just ended up talking quietly to Rachel. I tried to not be claustrophobic I really tried, but it didn't work. I ended up breathing heavily because I was squished in between two people and a bench.

"Hey Colton would you mind switching places with my sister? I need to tell her something."

"No of course I wouldn't mind switching" he said.

"Anya you need to stop. Cant you tell that he doesn't like you all over him?" I said once Anya and him switched.

"What are you talking about every guy likes a hot teenage girl."

"Not really just back off a little."

"Your just jealous that he is paying attention to me and not you."

"No Anya I am really not."

"Okay fine whatever."Anya said rudely. Good maybe this would give me more room.

"But I am not moving so that you can sit by them again."

"That's fine with me" I have classes with him anyway.

After the meeting we went to the youth class. We brought Rachel with us because she didn't know any of the young adults. Colton sat by me again. Gratefully Anya was not in this class. About half of the way through the class Colton asked.

"Are you mad at me for something?"

"No why would you say that?"

"Because your trying to ignore me."

"I am not."

"Yes yes you are."

"Am not."

"Yes you are."

"Fine well I guess it's just that band geeks and jocks don't mix in my school. Well except Thane but he is different because he does both."

"I don't see why you can't hang out with both."

"It's not the band people that is the problem, it's usually the jocks."

"Well then think of me as a human being then, not a jock because we are humans to"

I laughed at that "No I thought you where all gods." I said sarcastically.

"Ha ha. But seriously we are just like everybody else."
