i'm so sorry that i haven't updated.. :(

been really busy, tbh..

but, marching band season ended, so i've had more time lately.

went to bae's house saturday. things happened.

also, i decided that only the first 10 chapters will have titles. c:

Liam's POV

We arrived at the Institute, and I didn't even try partying correctly. I just stopped the car, got out and started walking quickly towards the entrance.

The boys soon followed, and we got inside.

"Where is she?!" I shouted, feeling anger pulse through my body.

The lady at the front desk now had a puzzled look on her face, but I could see in her eyes that she knew more than I did.

I walked straight up to the desk.

"I said, where is she?" I growled, finally pissed.

"Which 'she', sir? I could go find her if you gave me a name." She said innocently, and my eyes narrowed.

"Emily." I said, and her eyes widened a bit.

"Oh, I'm sorry, sir..but she isn't available..the owner of this establishment has responsibility over her." She said, and I just about lost it.

"She was ours! You can't tell me that she isn't, now!" I yelled, and a man burst through the doors that led to where the hybrids were kept.

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." He said, and I marched towards him.

"Or what?" I asked, and he chuckled.

"Or I'll call security." He said and smirked.

I didn't care anymore. I started throwing punches, one after another landing on his sly face..

He would pay for this.

Emily's POV

I heard yelling.

It got louder..and I decided to go check it out.

When I got out to the lobby, a tall, scary man was punching James!

I ran over, struggling but soon succeeding to separate them.

The man looked at me, then smiled, hugging me close to him. My eyes widened, not knowing who this mysterious figure was.

James called security, the guards pulling the man off of me. Before I got the chance to speak, James took my head and led me back into his office.

"Alright..Emily..you know that man who hugged you?" He said after a few minutes, and I nodded.

"He's a bad man. If he ever comes in again, don't trust him. No matter what he says to you. Okay?" James stated, and I smiled.

"Don't plan to. You're the only one I trust, remember?" I said and held my tail in my hands.

I saw a bit of pain in his eyes, but forget about it when he smiled. "Yeah."

Was something wrong with James..?
