Emily's POV
The mysterious man from earlier was gone, and I was in my cage, James sitting right outside of it.
"Hey..James..?" I asked after awhile, curling my fingers around one of the bars.
"Hmm?" He answered, and I bit my lip.
"Can I come out of here? Like..I know I can't leave the building..but..just the cage. I wanna walk around." I said and smiled.
"Oh..Em..I don't think it'd be a good idea after hours.." James said and I quickly spoke after him.
"It would just be for a little bit! I promise I'd be back in like..a few minutes." I said softly and he sighed, chuckling as well.
"Fine." James said and smiled, unlocking my door and opening it.
"Thanks! I'll be back in a bit." I said and hugged him tightly, then skipped off happily.
After awhile, I was at the top of a staircase.
It was already late at night, so I was extremely tired..and I could barely think or move.
However, I started walking down the stairs, suddenly slipping on the metal structure, tumbling down.
Then everything was black.
