"She won't ever understand, but I did what I did because I love her. How are you supposed to love someone else when you can barely love yourself? It would've been unfair for her to be dragged into all of my personal problems, so someone had to make a sacrifice. I love her, and all I want is for her to be happy, but if things had have stayed the same, I would've ended up just dragging her down."

"He ruined us. He took something that was going so well and crushed it, ended it. How could something so good be sacrificed like it meant nothing? I feel like we're right back to square one, all the way back to the beginning of junior year all over again. What was so horrible about what we had going that it was worth the sacrifice? "Ricky and Nini's breakup hit people harder than anyone would've expected. The first time it happened wasn't so bad, the theatre group weren't a family and friends that are now weren't friends back then. But it changed people. Certain friends took sides, groups divided from one into two and sacrifices were made. People just want things to go back to how they used to be, it doesn't feel right the way it is now."
