"𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐈, 𝐈 𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐎𝐃, 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐃𝐀𝐌𝐍 𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑," the brunette heard through the wood of her bedroom door. "Come on, love, we're going to be late."
"Seb, I've already told you," Nini said, leaning up against her bedroom door, listening for any sign that he wasn't the only one out there. "I'm not going because it means I won't have to face him and that's easier than seeing him."
"Nina Salazar-Roberts, I didn't think you were one to take the easy way out," Seb said, and Nini heard him flop down onto the floor so he was sitting by her door, probably in the same position that she was, just on the other side of the wood.
"If you just called me Nina, I don't think I'll ever come out of this room again," Nini chuckled at her friend, barrier receding a little. "You know that name is off limits unless we're in a dire situation. You promised never to call me that, ever."
"This is a dire situation!" Seb chuckled, and Nini imagined that he was throwing his hands in the air as he chuckled to himself. "You won't come out of your bedroom because of a stupid boy! Do I need to call him to come and get you?"
Nini's heart dropped at the thought of Ricky seeing her like this.
"You wouldn't," Nini muttered, assuming her best friend was joking, but her heart began to race when she heard Seb stand up. "Sebastian, I swear to god."
