A/N: Hi, just a heads up, this is sequel to my other story Wonderland so you shoudl read that one first :-)
-
I was pacing the rows of seats as I waited for her flight to land. The screams from outside weren't helping either, love the fans and all but if Jennie gets mobbed I'll throw a fit. I keep wiping my hands off on my jeans because they're sweating from my nerves. I haven't seen this girl in almost over two years. I mean okay video call and pictures but that's different. She'll be here.
She'll be real again. And it's absolutely terrifying. What if she thinks I got ugly? What if she doesn't like my new hair style, last time she saw me I still had a fringe.
My eyes dart to the bathroom, I'm pretty sure if I wet my hair I can give myself a fringe again. I take a minute to consider it. I'm literally about to go stick my head in a sink when I see gates open and people flooding out.
Then I see her.
Still as beautiful as ever but now the ends of her hair was blonde and her hair all together was longer. She even looked more fit than before if that's even possible. She hasn't noticed me yet and I try to catch my breath before I approach her. She grabs her bags from luggage check and I take that as my chance to walk up. I walk up to her so I'm still a few feet away then I swallow hard before speaking.
"J-Jennie." Her gaze lands on me and I'm breathless. My heart starts pounding in my chest I think I may have just fallen in love with her all over again.
"Luke," she smiles as tears form at the corners of her eyes. Next thing I know she's in my arms and I'm supporting her weight easily while taking in her wonderful scent. Maybe that's weird, but I don't care. "Oh my god," she laugh through her tears.
"What?" I stop terrified of what she might say. She pulls away looking me up and down making my cheeks burn. I knew I should've kept my damn fringe-
"You got freaking hotter!" She groans loudly but a wide smile is on her face.
"What?" I repeat feeling a smile form on my lips to match hers.
"Your hair," she gasps stepping closer and having to stand on her tip toes to reach my hair. "And you got taller! And-" she pinches my arm making me laugh. "You have muscles now!"
"Shut up" I laugh pulling her into my arms again. "Your hair is longer.. Still soft." I say running my hand through it.
Suddenly her grip on me tightens. "I missed you so much." She whispers.
"I missed you too Jennie." Then the screaming from outside intensifies and I remember we're in public.
"Fans?" She smirks with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah-" I chuckle rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly. "Let's go." I take her bags and lead the way to where security were waiting for me but i stop before we walk into the crowd.
"What's wrong?" Jennie questions.
"Just a heads up, you'll probably be mobbed right now." I say with a apologetic smile.
"This should be fun." She nods taking a deep breath.
-
"So that happens often?" Jennie questions on the car ride to my house.
"Not too often," I try and defend the fans. "I think they just get a little too excited." I shrug looking to Jennie who is running her hands through her hair.
"Well I think I'm gonna get some hate for you not taking pictures with everyone.." She jokes still messing with her hair. What she doesn't know is the fans actually adore her..
