I DARE YOU TO LISTEN TO ALL OF ME BY JOHN LEGEND WHILE READING THIS AND NOT SMILE LIKE AN IDIOT BC I FAILED.

-

The car came to a slow stop and looking up from my phone I see we're at our old school.

"Luke," I laugh, "What are we doing here on a saturday?"

The blonde boy just smiles and unbuckles his seat belt to get out of the car. I follow stuffing my phone in my pocket and without a word he makes his way to the large gates. He takes my hands walking down a hall and making a left to another hallway. Then I remember where we're going, music class. We stop outside of the doorway before Luke holds both of my arms and looks into my eyes with a giddy smile.

"Count to ten and walk in." He instructs before entering the classroom closing the door behind him. I stand confused as hell but count to ten slowly and open the door to my old classroom.

I look around the room and see its empty with vacant seats and an blank whiteboard expect for Luke sitting at a desk in the back of the class. I arch an eyebrow at the boy sitting in his seat with his hands neatly folded in front of him on the wooden desk then begin walking towards him.

"Luke-" I start but he cuts in.

"On the first day of school, the first time I saw you I was sitting in this seat when you walked through the door in an All Time Low shirt and sat right in front of me." He smiles as if he's proud of himself before standing.

"I remember," I nod at the memory of our first conversation wondering what's the point of this.

"Follow me." He takes my hand leading me through the desk and out of the classroom before we walk down the hall to the lunch area and stop in front of a familar planter. "Right here is where we listened to I Wanna Get Better by Bleachers and also where I started realizing that I had a little crush on you." Luke's cheeks turn a shade of red then laughing awkwardly and I begin to understand what he's doing.

"I remember." I grin look up at him lovingly. He takes my hand once again leading me to the other side of the campus to another classroom that I didn't recognize.

"Here," He points down to the parton cement he was standing on. "Is where i got into an argument with Ashton and Michael when I wanted to rush off to music class and see you. They told me I was becoming too invested in you and I should slow down because you had a boyfriend and I got mad... I didn't understand at the time but now I do." He looks around the campus before taking my hand again as we walk back to the hallway of our music class.

He stops mid way and keeps his eyes on the floor, the memory comes flooding back and I wish he wouldn't have brought this one up.

"This is where you told me you couldn't hangout with me because of said boyfriend. I was crushed," He furrows his eyebrows as he relives the events. He keeps his eyes on the floor as he continues, "I didn't realize until then that I was already too invested in you. I didn't want to let you go at that point and I wondered how it was so easy for you to chose him over me if I made you happy." Luke looks up at me with sad eyes and I didn't like it.

I had no words to excuse my stupid decision so I kissed his lips lightly and thankfully he cracks a small smile.

"We're not done yet." He smiles taking my hand and leads me off the campus and back to the car. I decide not to question anything since I know he has this planned out and I really want to see how this will play out.

We stop back in front of his house and he rushes inside with me following. He sits us on the couch and looks into my eyes, I already know what he's going to say. "This," He breathes. "is where you told me i changed your mind about loving said boyfriend. I still think I should've kissed you that day but I didn't want you to hate me so I decided against it." He jokes standing and taking me into the kitchen.
