"Hmm... I feel something. Festus, descend!" I ordered.
"Hey, whose driving this dragon, you or me?" Leo asked, but Festus descended anyway. We landed in some graveyard where a mansion could be seen above the hill from afar.
It's been weeks since I escaped that Christmas would be coming sooner or later. It was the dead of night and I was asleep until I could feel a Horcrux that I suddenly woke up.
"Angel," Will asked sleepily, "Is this your idea of a joke? Bring us to your favorite place at the dead of the night as a scare?"
"Since when have graveyards been my favorite place?" I asked irritatedly.
"Isn't it?" Will asked surprisingly.
"My favorite place is the hospital wing, with you, Dr. Annoying," I winked at Will.
Will put a hand on his heart, but Hazel decided to interrupt, "So, Neeks, what's the Horcrux you felt just now?"
"Hmm... actually a bit further than the mansion, I feel," I said. "I will go on ahead and find the Horcrux and then come back."
"Wait, you don't mean alone, do you?" Will asked.
"What? I thought that you might as well catch some sleep," I said.
"How can I sleep peacefully in a graveyard that might be haunted. Plus, wouldn't it be nice to have a little company?" Will asked.
"Well... yes, yes it will," I said, blushing hard.
"Just come back soon, alright, you two lovebirds?" Leo said, "I don't like being among the graves any much longer, you know?"
"Yeah, yeah, we got it," I said.
Hazel and Calypso stayed behind as well, catching up with the sleep that was once interrupted. Will and I still took a stroll through the graves.
"This was not how I imagined our first date to be after busting you out," Will said.
"What? You wanted to come along," I said.
"Well, if I didn't, whose going to take care of you? You are always so reckless, Angel, that I won't be surprised that when danger comes, you will hurt yourself," Will said.
"Aww... you care," I said.
"Of course I do, otherwise I am not your boyfriend," Will puffed.
"Of course, Dr. Annoying," I said, smiling.
Will laughed, and we turned to chatter about my life at Hogwarts before we reached the spot.
"It's in there," I said, pointing to a decrepit shack. "You ready?"
"It's a grab and destroy mission. What's there not to get ready about?" Will asked.
"Well, for starters, who knows whether Riddle put any curses or traps in there? If I were you, I rather be careful," I said.
"Roger," Will saluted. I rolled my eyes at him.
Then, we went inside to a shack that was decrepit inside out. The floor boards creaked under our weight, and the wallpaper was peeling. It was absolutely dirty and stinky with dirty plates and dust that could cloud our vision to a certain extent.
"Be careful," Will said.
"I always am," I said.
Will rolled his eyes, but I chose to ignore it. Then, he stepped on another floor board which actually floated upward and almost impaled Will if I didn't intervene.
"You be careful," I said this time, smiling.
"How was I suppose to know that wizards are this crazy?" Will muttered under his breath.
