We finished dinner and the twins left with their mother and my mom?
I didn't know where she went, she just suddenly disappeared when dinner was over but I didn't care.
Soon, it started raining and Helen couldn't go back home so she had to spend the night and we had a sleep over like usual and we went over everything we found out today.
"You know the best part of this whole thing?" Helen asked with a dreamy look on her face.
" What?" I asked a bit confused.
" I am going to spend the rest of my life with Emerson" there, she said it.
" He is not human. Are you willing to give up your human life just to be with him?" I asked wanting to be sure of where she stood at the moment.
She smiled and I knew her answer " I don't mind. I am going with you Guinevere" she said seriously " I know your mind is not here anymore and besides, there is nothing special about the human world, I get bore of it easily" she added and I rolled my eyes.
" How about you family, your parents?"
"I will miss them but they will be fine without me. I rather be with my best friend and soulmate in another world with magic" she told me playfully and I laughed.
She was a sister, no, more than a sister and I was very glad to have gotten her as a friend. Just as she was willing to do anything for me, I was also willing do anything for her. That was what made us friends.
Monday came rather quickly and I later found myself at school with Helen who had a very bright smile on her face. I bet she was excited to see Emerson and I was right when she jumped on him and kissed him when we came across them in the hallway.
"I guess they have made it official" Evelyn commented.
"And you Eve, have you found your mate?" I asked as we made our way to class. She didn't have a mate before I died.
"Yes I have. Met him a few years after you died. He was there to comfort me" she told me.
" And Tristan?" I asked. How was he after I died.
She sighed and I knew it was not good. "He didn't take it too well. " She told me and I also sighed.
Of course he wouldn't take it so well.
"He locked himself in his Chambers for three hundred years and when he came out, we could bearly recognize him, he became a changed man. He became crueller, a bit heartless. He even cut his hair short. He thought he lost you forever but destiny had other plans" she smiled.
I couldn't believe, my Tristan became wicked. Oh heavens. I couldn't imagine my Tristan becoming wicked, something had to be done.
The four of us walked into class and took our seat, did I mention that Helen sat beside Emerson, the nerve of that girl, I was her best friend not him.
Okay, I sounded jealous. I know!.
The teacher later came to class and started teaching and I let my mind wonder off to Tristan.
He must have been so lonely, so broken to had made him change his ways. I missed him, I didn't realize until now how much I missed him and I wanted to see him again and I would, I was sure of it.
My thoughts were interrupted when I noticed the sitting arrangement. Evelyn, Helen and Emerson were sitting around my table and I looked around the class and saw that everyone were sitted the same way.
"The only time you do not pay attention is when you are in your little Tristan world" I heard Helen said and I turned back to glare at her.
"Even back then" Eve added and they both giggled and I rolled my eyes. It was my bad luck that these two had to meet.
"What are you guys doing here anyway?" I asked them. "In the human world?" I added when I realized that the light in their heads did not lit at my question.
"We came here to investigate if you were really reborn or not" Emrys answered.
" You see..." Eve continued and stopped and I suddenly had a bad feeling about here this was going. "After you died, something horrible happened" she added...
"What?" Helen asked on my behalf.
" The throne of Elvaria turned into ice"
