"That was so cruel" Helen said.
"Yeah. I remembered how heart broken mother was especially when he got married to Emalia and made her his queen. Our mother gave up her soul the next day"
(Flash Back)
" Mother" Andriana called as she went into the chambers that belonged to her mother. "Mother" she called again when she didn't see her mother in sight but she heard a little sound that made her went towards the bed and opened the screen and a loud gasp escaped her lips to find her mother choking out yellow blood, she quickly went to her side and placed her mother's head on her labs.
"Mother, what have you done. Please look at me, open your eyes" Andriana begged as tears roll down her face.
Queen Athina slowly opened her eyes and gave her daughter a sad smile.
"Why did you do this mother?" Andriana asked with a sob
"Andriana" the queen started really slowly " my precious little one. I am sorry but mother won't be here to anymore" tears rolled down from her eyes as well.
" No, you can't leave me all alone, you promised to be there for your grand and great grand children. Why did you have to do this mother. I don't want to be alone"
" You won't be alone. You have Tristan, I know he will take good care of you and the Twins, even though your father does not look at you anymore." She coughed out more blood from her mouth " my time in this world is no longer needed Andriana. I want you to know that I will always watch after you and the twins. I love you my little angel"
With that being said, Andriana watched as the soul of the queen slowly left her body and walked towards the window but she stopped and turned back to her daughter gave her a sad smile.
"Come back" she yelled "you can't leave me, COME BACK!"
"Take care my princess" And slowly, the spirit of queen Athina faded away like the blowing wind.
Slowly Andriana looked down at the dead mother of her mother as sobs left her mouth.
Then suddenly, she gave a really loud scream that was heard by the entire kingdom.
(End of Flash back)
"Can you stop talking for a moment" a sob escaped my mouth as I remembered the death of my mother.
"Am sorry" Evelyn said as she used a hand to weep her tears.
Helen came over to me and put me into a hug as a sign of comfort.
"I think this should be enough for today" Emerson said and I put away from Helen and cleaned my tears. It hurt especially when I had that memory.
"Am fine. You should continue. What did the king say?" I asked.
"Well, Father was not bothered, he was so caught up with his new family. He had the power to being her back from the dead but he refused.
(Flash Back)
"You can't just let mother die like that. You have to bring her back" Andriana yelled at her father in his throne him where he was sitting in the middle with this new wife and daughter sitting on his right and left.
"It was your mother's choice to give up her soul. Let the dead remain dead" Emalia said.
King Syrin sighed " Andriana, queen Emalia is right. I can't bring back someone who want to remain dead"
Andriana shook her head disappointedly " I can't believe you are saying this King Syrin. What did mother ever do to you!?" She yelled.
" Show some respect Andriana, I am your father and your king!"
Andriana laughed bitterly " I don't have a father"
King Syrin stood up from his throne "How dare you!"
"My father died the day this woman you call a wife came into his life. You are nothing but a complete monster!"
" My Lord, I think you have spoiled her too much, she no longer have respect for you. She needs to be punished" Emilia encouraged.
" Princess Andriana, I think I have spoiled you too much. Guards!" The king called and two guards came in through the door "Take her to the dungeons and do whatever that is necessary" he ordered.
Adrianna scoffed " You seem to be forgetting one thing king Syrin. I am the queen of Azazel and I assure you, king Tristan will not be very happy when he finds out you flogged his beloved wife" she moved closer " you think your new family will last, I assure you, you will regret this day and I will make sure to stand there and watch you do. I promise you king Syrin" she turned and walked out of the room.
(End of flash back)
" But how did I die? Who killed me?" I asked again when the memory ended.
" You were poisoned by some maid, shs practised dark magic" Paul continued.
