Jasper raised a brow at the shouting match he walked into. He had just returned from a hunt with Edward, Emmett and Rosalie when his more sensitive ears picked up the screamfest that went on in their temporary household nearly five seconds before his siblings did.
Emmett, Rosalie and Jasper walked into Alice and Bella screaming at each other with Renesmee between them. Or, more appropriately, Bella screaming profanities at Alice while Alice merely raised her voice in the effort to be heard over Bella's screeching. Alice's hand was being held by Kyle, no doubt to ground her and hold her back in case her calmness disappears, while Edward's arm is wrapped around a thrashing Bella, who, in Rosalie's opinion, was throwing a tantrum fit of a Malfoy, a character in one of the book series the whole family, apart from Bella, got addicted to.
"You are not taking my daughter to see that bitch that moved us here!" Bella screeched at Alice who stayed calm and rolled her eyes at the tantrum her adoptive sister-in-law was throwing.
"That is not your decision to make, Bella. That is Renesmee's decision." Alice said, smiling when the rest of the family nodded at her statement.
"My daughter is thirteen. She cannot decide for herself. She is not mature enough. I am her mother and I will decide for her." Bella said, ignoring the scalding look of horror Renesmee, Esme, Rosalie and Edward gave her at her blatant disrespect towards her daughter.
"Your daughter is thirteen and yet somehow her maturity level is way higher than yours." Alice retorted with a scoff, biting back a smirk when she heard Emmett and Rosalie hide their laugh with a cough. Bella let out a feral scream before glaring at Alice, her next word shocking everyone, including the Carlisle and Esme, who just came back from a walk after their own hunt.
"I am so done with you. Get the fuck out of this family, you stupid fucking freak. i'm so tired of you and your fucking visions that is driving everyone apart. You're pushing everyone away from me and I-" Her words were cut short by Alice, who, despite her small stature, dragged Bella outside and pinned her on the ground by the neck, squeezing it tightly to leave small cracks.
"Listen here. You have no right to kick me out of this family. You used to be my best friend and I tolerated your tantrums because of the respect I have, had, on our history. We may not be friends anymore after the stunt you pulled but I still respected you and tolerated you, for the sake of my brother and my niece. But after your words, that is now gone. You knew the consequences and the sacrifices you had to make when you became a part of this family. You were not even supposed to stay in touch with Charlie. But we allowed that. We sacrificed as much as we can because Edward loves you. Because we love you. So it's time for me to pop your stupid, self-centred, self-important bubble because this world does not revolve around you. This family, does not revolve around you. Get your head out of your ass." Alice hissed before creating more cracks in Bella's neck, and left when she was done, taking Jasper and Kyle with her.
Bella stood up with the help of Carlisle who was holding a small glass of venom to heal the cracks. She rolled her eyes and walked towards Renesmee, only to freeze when the young hybrid stepped back with a look of horror, disappointment, sadness and anger directed at her mother. Bella tried to reach out for her daughter but Renesmee just shook her head as tears fell down her face before riding Wolf-Jacob's back, asking him to go somewhere far, away from Bella. Bella looked at Edward with a heartbroken look in her eyes, only for it to get worse when Edward shook his head and left as well.
She fell to her knees as she dry sobbed, with Esme and Carlisle watching her, torn. They are angry at her for what she had said to Alice, saddened by the way she is sobbing, but is confused with that led on to this outburst. Esme and Carlisle looked at each other before sighing at the same time, pulling Bella up and dropping her at the couch and leaving, giving her some privacy.
Bella dry sobbed for nearly an hour, before getting up, the anger in her heart blooming.
They will pay for this. She thought as she picked up her phone to call the one person she know that can and will help, carefully avoiding any decision making to avoid Alice's visions.
