Epilogue

*Ps. the wedding was mid-July, and Elizabeth met Jasper around Early March*

Volterra, Italy, Winter 2021

Half a year.

It took them half a year to convince Elizabeth to take the bite. 

Another half a year.

Another half to convince her to accept the crown. 

Three months later and all preparations for the coronation was finally done. 

All that was left was to present the new queen* to all the vampiric clans.

Eliza's life as a vampire somehow was not too different to her old one, only with a few upgrades.  

She felt sad, when she found out that she couldn't eat human food anymore. 

Until she remembered that she wasn't a full vampire, and can therefore still eat human food. 

Along with the super speed and strength, Eliza's eyes became a permanent, slightly glowing blue, and her switching abilities were magnified. 

While human, she found that she can turn abilities and aspects of another person off, with or without the help of her brother, although she can't change anything about herself.

As a vampire, she found out that she can now change attributes in herself, and can even turn herself into an animal, although she will still need Stefan's help with changing things outside her normal five-mile range, although she had no limit to the amount of people she can influence. 

"You're a metamorph," Rosalie said with wide eyes when she found Eliza running all over the place looking like Aro, causing them all to laugh. 

Eliza loved it, and was often found running around the castle as a little girl, or a cat, living life with a childhood that she never had, or in the eyes of her favourite animal. 

Jasper loved seeing her run around in cat form with her pets that she refused to leave in Ukraine. It made him happy, seeing his mate live her life in another degree of freedom that she didn't have before. 

He laughed gleefully as Eliza morphed back to her normal self after running into him, giving him a kiss before morphing back into her younger self and ran after Jane who she was playing with.

To say she was nervous was an understatement. 

It was her coronation day today, and her still extra-sensitive ears can hear the clans gathering in the throne room. 

She was confident, of course. She knows she has what it takes to be a queen, having born from a long line of rulers and nobility herself.

"Don't worry, Eliza. I know your subjects will like you. They would most likely even prefer you over us." Marcus said, trying to calm his descendant down. A knock on the door interrupted them, and Jasper poked his head in. 

"The kings need you, Marcus. The coronation starts in three and the procession starts in two." Marcus nodded and walked out, giving Eliza a pat in the head, being careful to not mess up her hair. 

"Do you need a kiss to calm you down?" Jasper teased, his smile widening when he felt her nerves calm slightly. 

"And have Alice's wrath on me for messing up her masterpiece? I love your snogs but I'd rather not anger the pixie." She replied, smiling at her mate, kissing his cheek instead, loving the way his now blood red eyes lit up. 

With their decision to stay in Volterra, most of the Cullens had decided to switch to human blood, aside from Carlisle and Esme. With the diet switch came hidden abilities.

Alice's visions became a more permanent, rather than decision based. 

Edward's mind reading can now cut through any mental barriers and shields.

Renesmee can now project memories without touch, and can project multiple memories at a time.

Jasper can fully influence someone's emotions, using it against them, as well control them using emotions. Human blood made it easier for his control as well, as well as differentiating his own emotions to those around him. 

Rosalie obtained siren-like abilities, her beauty and voice able to entice anyone, hypnotizing them to a certain extent.

Emmett found out that he had the ability to change his arms and hands into any weapon he wanted to, much to the burly man's joy.

"Good idea. Well then, may I escort you to your coronation, your highness?" Jasper said, holding his arm out for her to hold on. 

"Yes you may, my good sir." She said as she took the offered arm, a soft smile on her face. 

In front of the doors of the throne room, Aro's voice can be heard. 

"And now, I present to you all, The first Queen of the Vampires, The Blood Countess of Hungary, Queen Elizabeth Bathory, and her mate, King Consort Jasper Hale of the Olympic Coven." 

And so she took an unnecessary deep breath and removed any emotion on her face, although the warmth in her eyes remained. She held her head high, her soft gold and blue cornflower sapphire crown glittered under the daylight fluorescent bulbs of the old castle. 

Casting a sweeping gaze on her new subjects from her sapphire encrusted throne, she locked eyes with her mate and let a soft smile spread on her face. 

A new era of eternity for her begins today, and she's incredibly excited. 

A new way of life, just like the new life that grew in her and a few other females in the castle. 

Only, they didn't know it yet.

This story started off as a plot bunny in my head, and I am incredibly proud of it. 

This is the first full fic that I finished.
