W: swearing

The week that followed had been relatively peaceful. Edward, as much as he hated it, had decided to take Isabella out for the week, the need for the truth slightly overwhelming his senses.

With Isabella out of the house, they are all free to bond, releasing any hidden and remaining grudges.

From these bonding times that the Cullens understood the Volturi.

Aro is greedy, yes. But his greed stemmed from his need to protect the existence of vampires from humans.

"If it's not for the talents we possess, and Caius' strategic mind, we would have risked our existence already, due to vampires that refuse to be discreet," Aro said when he was asked by Caitlyn. "We were once humans. Looking at them now, it won't be long until they find a way to destroy us and our existence, or use us and the venom. The rules we set protects us and our kin. It is necessary."

"He is right." Eliza said after a few moments. "I'm human, but I'm immortal, hence I'm supernatural. Humans fear what they do not understand, and will not hesitate to kill. They've killed their own kind for being different. They will find ways to destroy us."

Carlisle sat and listened, his feelings in conflict. Feelings that went unnoticed to everyone but Aro, Jasper and Eliza. The female spoke to her grandson with a sigh.

"Carlisle, speak your mind, please."

Carlisle hesitated before speaking.

"Humans have emotions. They have life. I can't, in my own conscience, take that away, the same way the venom took our humanity away. It's the reason why I refuse to drink human blood. " Eliza nodded before speaking.

"Carlisle, I understand your predicament but you have to understand that there is a need for an hierarchy. You must accept the fact that we are higher on that hierarchy than humans. You must understand what they are capable of. And drink blood from bloodbags, like I do. It won't be as warm, but is satisfying nonetheless. It is something you need to do."

"Need to do? What do you mean?" Carlisle asked in confusion a few minutes later.

"Your gift isn't strong enough to show itself because the animal blood you drink is holding you back. It'sthe same way Alice's gift only works with decisions, Edward has no control over his mind reading, and Jasper can't control his thirst, because he can't control his gift and feels your thirst as well." Eliza said as she stood up and went to pull Jasper off the couch.

"Let's go out." She told him as they left to let the others ponder on their thoughts.

"Where do you wanna go, Darling?" He said as he accompanied Eliza to her room.

"Take me to the Carpathian Mountains?" She said as she moved to change, ignoring the lustful look he wore as he scanned her body, his own lust hitting him fully despite its lack of appearance for nearly over a century. He let a smirk grace his marble face when he felt her lust amplify his.

Moments later and Eliza found herself on Jasper's back as he raced through the forest and into the mountains for a hike, a camera hanging from his neck.

Beautiful. That's the first thing Eliza thought when they reached the peak of Mount Hoverla. The sunset had begun as they got there and the beauty of it was just breathtaking.  The sun's reddish hues blending well with the slight cloudy blue sky,  showing her shades of purple and pink that knew she needed to capture. She felt Jasper hand her the camera and grabbed it without looking at him, and captured the view. She smiled and took more pictures when something caught her eyes. She looked beside her to see Jasper staring at her, and was baffled at the sight.

He's sparkling.

"What the fuck?"

Her reaction made Jasper laugh, all his apprehension disappearing like a cloud. There was no one around them, and Jasper had taken the liberty to remove his winter jacket and let the sun warm his abnormally cold skin.

"You're sparkling. You're fucking sparkling." She said with wide eyes, mischief pooling in her eyes. She shook her head and kissed his cheek before holding his hand and sat down on the rocky mountain top.

"It had been too long, since I felt complete and satisfied. I've always felt...weak. I had everything I needed. I still do. But I've always felt as though I was missing something. And then I met you and that void I had suddenly felt smaller. Then I met the rest of your family and every single one of you helped stitch that hole closed. Then I found my brother again, and met his mate and her family and that hole is nearly closed. I guess I just want to say thank you." She said as she laid her head on his shoulder a few minutes later, their gazes on the sunset in front of them.

"I hope that we can fully close that void. And I should be the one saying thank you. You helped our family tremendously with the truth that you have told us. And you are helping us getting rid of Bella." Jasper told her with a smile, and a sneer towards Isabella's name. Eliza wrinkled her nose when Isabella's name was mentioned and smacked Jasper's arm.

"I hate that bitch, so I truly do not want her name to come out of your mouth. Her name stains the mouth of the speaker." Eliza said with a frown as she stood up and stretched her arms up.

Jasper stood up and wrapped his arms around Eliza's waist and pulled her close to him, taking a deep breath of her morning dew and winter breeze  scent that is mixed with the gentle lavender scent of her hair and bath products and the soft ocean breeze scent of her laundry detergent. He looked at her and smiled at the way she sighed after smelling his spearmint and sandalwood scent. His smile morphed into a smirk at the thought that popped up in his mind.

"Darling? You said that her name is trash that stains the mouth of the speaker, yes?" He said, causing her to look at him in confusion. She nodded and his smirked widened.

"How about you clean it for me?" He said as he swooped down and captured her lips in his for a passionate kiss.

' Kissing as the sun sets. How romantic.' She thought as she returned his kiss eagerly, her hands playing with his hair.

They pulled away breathless, despite Jasper's lack of need to breathe.

"I think your mouth is still dirty. Let's go back to cleaning it." Eliza said with a giggle, making Jasper laugh as well before connecting their lips again.
