Volterra, Italy, 2020

Stefan can't help but walk back and forth in worry.

Today was his wedding.

He's getting married to the love of his life.

"Can you please stop pacing, dear brother." Eliza said as she sighed. They are in her room in Castle Volterra, waiting until the wedding begins. Her brother had been pacing for nearly half an hour now, and his wedding starts in just under three minutes.

"But what if she backs out? What if she changes her mind and says no? What if she doesn't show up?" He said as he paced, ignoring his sister.

"She loves you, Stefan. Do not disrespect her by doubting her. She's not going to back off and I know that for sure. Now, sit down and calm yourself. I don't want you to be sweating by the time the wedding begins. Speaking off, we need to be off. The march starts soon." Eliza said as she gave her brother a hug, trying to calm him down more. Stefan took a deep breath and looked at his sister's hazel eyes, truth and sincerity reverberating through their twin bond.

"Let's go, sister dear! I'm going to get married!" Stefan said as he laughed in euphoria, giddily dragging his sister along as he walked out of the room to get the wedding started.

"On your places everyone!" Alice said as she gathered the people that are part of the procession.

Edward started the processional song, a piano rendition of Ruelle's I Get To Love You.

Eliza and Stefan went first, Stefan in his full black tux, and Eliza in her sapphire blue cocktail dress. At the end of the aisle, Eliza looked at her brother with a smile, and kissed his forehead before moving to her designated chair.

His best man, Demetri, followed them next, clapping his closest friend in the back, followed by his groomsmen, Alec, Felix and Jasper. They are who he can consider as his closest friends. Stefan looked at his friends with a fond smile. They had met just as The Volturi were on their way back to the castle after their confrontation with the Cullens. Their friendship had grown throughout the years, Stefan practically an honourary Volturi.

On Alec's arm was his twin, Jane. Felix had Renata on his, and Jasper led Corin, Feronia's bridesmaids, the girls she considered her sisters.

Feronia's maid of honour walked down the aisle next.

And Stefan laughed as he saw his best friend gape at Heidi in shock.

He knew that Demetri had his eyes set on the former Volturi Fisher but years of being alone had blocked his sight of the potential mate in front of him.

Demetri knew Heidi had always been gorgeous, an amazing woman in her own right. However, now with nothing clouding his mind, he finally saw Heidi in all her glory.

And that was the first time he felt his dead heart skip.

Stefan would've continued laughing if he hadn't seen his beloved walk down the aisle.

Feronia looked around with awe. Alice and Heidi had planned the venue to perfection. Floral overhangs that littered with fairy lights that lit up the area on that perfect night. Blue chiffon and purple silk cloths that flew freely with the soft breeze. The guest's chairs were made of wood with white cushions, with alternating purple and blue flowers. She looked ahead and met the eyes of her soulmate, thanking the higher beings that Alice had decided that waterproof makeup was what she must wear.

How can she hold back her tears when her soulmate shed his first?

Stefan watched as Feronia walked down with the aisle in her white gown. He watched as his bride walked towards him, being led by her parents. And she looks absolutely breathtaking.
