"What did I just hear?" Alexis asked as she stared at Superboy laying Nightwing back down.

"Alexis? Where is she? I need to talk to her!" Nightwing said as Alexis blinked a couple of times and looked at Miss Martian. "Well, at least now I know my ears aren't tricking me."

"Where..where.." Nightwing began but had passed out from the adrenaline rush and Alexis went to his side, checking for his pulse, just in case. "Okay. He's just unconscious."

"Okay. That was just weird." Superboy said as Alexis nodded.

"Guys! There's a girl here! She's looking for Alexis!" The three heard Beast Boy shout from outside the medical bay as Alexis immediately ran out, Superboy following after her and they both came to a stop when they saw Blue Beetle holding a ginger headed girl in his arms.

"Lizzy?" Alexis called as she ran up to Blue Beetle and looked at the ginger. It was Elizabeth and she was bruised up badly. "Beetle, take her to the medical bay. Superboy, come with me. I know where we need to go."

Superboy nodded before the two went up to the Zeta Tubes and Alexis told him where to go.

The Zeta Tube had taken them to a nearby Zeta Tube just outside of Elizabeth's block. Alexis looked down the street and saw a bunch of police cars going down the street. Alexis saw it stop at the end of the block, where she knew it was Elizabeth's house.

"Superboy, come on!" Alexis shouted as she ran down the street, Superboy following close behind as they got closer and closer to her friend's house. Alexis stopped running and her eyes went wide as she saw the entire house was sent aflame. She approached it, but was quickly stopped by police officers.

"Ma'am! Please step back-!"

"We're here to put out that fire." Superboy simply said as the officer looked at Superboy and quickly had let them through. Alexis blasted at the fire, quickly putting the blaze out. Alexis quickly ran inside and searched the place.

"Please don't be here. Don't be here, Mr. Becker. Please." Alexis whispered as she searched the lower floor. There was nothing at first, so when Alexis used her powers and took herself to the top of the stairs, which had broken down during the fire, Alexis screamed and began to cry when she saw a body on the floor in the hallway.

It was Elizabeth's dad. He looked like he was trying to crawl to the steps and to get away from the fire, but got to him before he could escape. Alexis' body shook visibly as she stepped backwards. She bumped into someone and she turned to see Superboy.

"I have to go." Alexis cried out as Superboy wrapped his arms around Alexis and she immediately broken down. Alexis had known Elizabeth's dad since they were babies. When her father was busy with work, Elizabeth's dad was like her second dad. She looked up to him just as much as she did her own. But seeing him like this, it broke her.

"I-I want t-to leave, Superboy." Alexis said in a shook tone as Superboy nodded and they both climbed off the ice and walked out of the house, but not before Alexis retracted the ice.

"How did it go?" Beast Boy asked as soon as Superboy and Alexis returned. "Gar, let's not talk about i-"

"Guys! She's awake!" They heard as Alexis ran to the medical bay and found her friend with her eyes wide open.

"Lizzy?"

"Hey Lexi. I see you got a superhero outift." Elizabeth said weakly as she smiled softly. "Y-yeah. I did." Alexis said as tears began to slip from her eyes.

"Oh, don't be such a baby, Lexi. I'm okay. I'm not gonna die. And if I am, I will haunt in the afterlife." Elizabeth joked as Alexis laughed wholeheartedly. "I know you will."

"Heh. Wait, where's my dad?" Elizabeth asked as she looked around the room. Alexis looked down at her feet, gulping visibly as she looked at Superboy. "Alexis? Where's my Dad?"

"I'm sorry, Lizzy.." Alexis began as Elizabeth looked at her in disbelief before tears fell from her eyes. "It's my fault.."

"No, it's not, Lizz-"

"It is, Alexis! I caused that fire and now my Dad's dead because of me!" Elizabeth shouted as she brought her hands up to her face. "Wait, what do you mean you caused the fire?"

"We were in my room. Dad and I were just looking over some of my drawings that I was thinking of painting on my wall. Then, out of nowhere, these men came bursting in my door. They were the same clothes as the man that broke in my home the other day. I got terrified and scared. But my dad asked what they wanted and they said they wanted me. I didn't know what happened after that. All I remember was running out the house and I saw it was catching on fire. I looked at my hand and there was embers coming from it." Elizabeth explained as Alexis blinked her eyes.

"No way. You're..like me?"
