"What did he say?" Black Canary asked as soon as Batman walked back into the brief room.

"I convinced him to let you stay. But he said, only if you don't make the mistakes as last time." Batman said before Alexis' eyes went wide.

"Mistakes?! What mistakes?! I saved his life! I saved everyone that day! And he thinks that was a mistake?!" Alexis exclaimed as she yelled in frustration.

"Yeah, from the story she was telling us, she saved them and he was just being ungrateful for her help." Green Arrow summed down as Batman nodded in agreement.

"I know, but I don't think anything I say will change his mind about what happened." Batman confirmed as Alexis sighed heavily. "Anyway, Alexis, since we don't have anymore rooms, you'll be sharing a room with one of the female members of the team."

"Will they be okay with that?" Alexis asked just in time to hear the Zeta tubes go off.

"Let's find out.." Green Arrow joked as Alexis sighed softly once more.

"What are you guys doing here?" The woman, Miss Martian, said as she spotted Black Canary, Green Arrow, and Batman with a girl.

"Is she a new member?" Beast Boy asked as he shifted into a bird and flew up to her. He shifted back to his normal self and Alexis' eyes went wide in awe.

"I'm Beast Boy. But everyone calls me Garfield, or Gar." Beast Boy said as Alexis smiled.

"I'm Alexis. But my friends call me Lexi." Alexis said as Beast Boy smiled brightly. "Gar! Don't scare her!" Miss Martian scowled as Beast Boy backed up a bit.

"No, it's okay. He's fine." Alexis assured as Miss Martian smiled. "So, you're new?"

"Yeah, that's-that's what I am."

"Well, I would like to welcome you to the team." Miss Martian said while shaking her hand. Alexis looked down at her hand and realized that Miss Martian didn't seem to hide her true self from anyone. She was wondering to herself whether she should do the same.

"You okay?" She asked as Alexis nodded and smiled. "I'm great.."

"Hey, M'gann. Batman mentioned earlier that Alexis might have to share a room with a female teammate." Black Canary mentioned as Miss Martian nodded.

"There's a spare bed in my room from when Zatanna was staying here. You can stay with me." Miss Martian assured as Alexis nodded and smiled. "Thanks, Miss Martian."

"Please, call me M'gann. And consider it a welcome gift." Miss Martian said before Alexis rubbed her arm. "And since we'll be roommates, we can talk about superhero names for you, costume ideas, all of it."

"Wow! You'd really do that for me?" Alexis said as Miss Martian nodded. "I remember meeting you before. I never caught your name, but you have potential. I can tell. And no matter what Robin said before, I remember you saving us. Willing to risk your life for us, not mistakes, not being reckless. But being a hero. That's all that really matters."

"I'm glad you see it that way." Alexis said while rolling her eyes.

"Well, Robin, well, Nightwing I should say, was a jerk back then. Maybe he's a jerk now, but we both know the truth." Alexis nodded before alarms began to sound.

"What's that?" Alexis asked as Miss Martian furrowed her eyebrows. "I'm not sure."

"Team, listen up." They both heard as they both turned to see Nightwing approach. Alexis rolled her eyes before she looked towards Miss Martian. She shook her head, basically telling her to leave it alone. "We got an alert from Lexcorp. Someone's broke in and we need to investigate."

"Why are we investigating that guy's business when he's a criminal?" Superboy asked, beating Alexis to the punch. "I understand, Superboy. But this is not requested by me. It was requested by the League. So when the League requests something.."

"Something's about to go down." Beast Boy finished as Nightwing nodded. "Right. So, we'll split. And because most of the team isn't available right now, we'll be divided into two teams. Miss Martian, Lagoon Boy, Beast Boy, and Blue Beetle will be team Beta. Superboy and I will be Alpha squad. And Alexis since you're new and we haven't came up with anything for you yet.. you'll join the Alpha squad."

Alexis tried her hardest not to roll her eyes. She really couldn't stand this guy anymore. So, just to tip him off, she smirked and looked at Miss Martian then back at Nightwing.

"Call me..Frostbite, Team Leader."
