Chapter 2

Zhan Yao's gaze fell like an act of violence, a glare to stop Bai Yu Tong's coming words and freeze his lips open. In that moment Yu Tong knew that the man he brought here was no joke at all and he will find it hard to tame him.

This was the real him and for some reason he was no longer afraid to show it. For his whole life Zhan Yao kept being overly gentle and afraid to interact with others or respond to their bullying but for some reason now, he needs to act rude and fierce to protect himself.

There was no softness in Yu Tong's gaze either. It was a look that conveyed a bubbling hatred. Disgust perhaps. He wanted to declare war and claim property. Bai Yu Tong pointed to the security head to leave them alone after he dropped Zhan Yao's belonging here and closed the door behind.

Zhan Yao searched in his memory for a possible solution to flee from here, but unfortunately he can not complain and ruin his image at the very beginning when he was lucky enough to be granted the scholarship. He tried his best to calm down and beg for pardon. The only way to make peace.

"Can we get over what happened today please?, Allow me to apologize for scratching your car?" Asked Zhan Yao after faking a smile and tried to act unexpectedly nice to Bai Yu Tong who looked not caring at all about his change of attitude.

"I could have wronged you, but as I remember you broke my phone as well so we are kinda equal" disconcerted Bai Yu Tong averted his eyes away and ignored what Zhan Yao said and grabbed his wallet. He took a big amount of money and threw it on the couch for Zhan's cell phone.

Zhan Yao looked at the money thrown on the couch and knew what the other meant by that. He froze in his spot fearing that he would be asked to pay the damage he caused to his car and unfortunately Bai Yu Tong was playing on that side.

"So you want us to be equal, pay me back now for what you caused to my car as I just did" provoking Zhan Yao's patience, he knew someone like him would never afford such an amount of money to pay him back. It was a war of power and money, war of insult.

"I don't have such money in my pocket neither in my account so if you could just tell me the amount and give me some time to gather it for you" Zhan Yao was reasonable and straightforward. He looked sad though for the fact that this could take ages for him to pay back such a strong damage.

Bai Yu Tong looked in a weird way satisfied with that. He sat on the couch and layed there comfortably then asked Zhan Yao to join him. The other sat next to him obediently and really needed to make up with him because he won't ever dare stand in this wealthy man's face.

"I know you are afraid of me because I have power while you have nothing. Do we agree on this right?" Said Yu Tong harshly. He got up and searched for Zhan Yao's shy eyes as he grabbed his neck and pulled his face so close to his and something unexpectedly happened against Bai Yu Tong's will

Zhan Yao closed his eyes firmly avoiding the impossible short distance but not for too long before he looked at Yu Tong's back before both were spacing out in eachother. Yu Tong unwillingly felt lost in Zhan's eyes, deeper and deeper until he was lost in his heart.

"I can't remember the last time I heard my heart beats this crazy. I feel like I can hear his as well. It slowly becomes my surroundings and it matches mine by default" Bai Yu Tong weirdly scanned the man and his every soft detail.

He went through his hair, his eyes, his body, when he found himself transcend into a beautiful world which contains all of the pleasant features of him that took his breath away. It was the luck that hit Bai Yu Tong this time making him fall for this man at first sight.

"What?" Finally Zhan Yao brought him back to reality. Bai Yu Tong pulled back quickly and added no word but escaped the dangerous man who tamed him when no one has ever done that before. He suddenly softened yet he hated it so much for his planned revenge to turn up against him.
