Chapter 14

Bai Yu Tong looked at the girl who was stunned by finding the man she was looking for. She couldn't believe that her mission was easy and fast to accomplish but she needed a proof of his identity.

"Do you have a proof?" She asked and quickly he raised his phone wrote Bai Yu Tong on Google and a whole search showed up on his screen accompanied by his handsome pictures.

"Is this enough, Don't you know me?" He was surprised for there is people who doesn't seem to belong in this world as they don't know him. He laughed then asked her when he seemed in a rush.

"Who are you? And why are you looking for me?" Her eyes expression seemed anxious as she was trembling. Yu Tong didn't know how serious is the situation. He looked at her shaking hands slowly handing him a diary and a white paper.

"This is your father diary and a letter from my dad. My father said it's urgent you need to read this" Standing together with him, while he was reading the letter before he grabbed her hand in surprise.

"This is very dangerous you need to come with me" Bai Yu Tong Dragged her to his car and drove fast outside the city to the central prison before he took the phone and called for Bai Chi to keep Zhan Yao company as he gonna stay out all night.

He felt like being trapped in a dark spell and could not move. The only person who could help him now was his father who is an important man in the government and has high connections. He hoped that this long night will end good fortunately.

The Letter,

[ To Bai Yu Tong,

I am your father's friend that lives with him in the same prison cell. He was taken by unknown people who want to kill him. it's been nearly two days since I last saw him. He could be dead now as he could be still alive you need to rush. I know Zhan Fu very well, he is a good man but he is trapped in a very dangerous situation and as his son you need to save him. You have power and connection and you can get him out of here. They want him dead to erase the only remaining evidence.

Bai Yu Tong, he is your real father, save him if you wanna know the truth.

Bai Yu Tong trembled more when thinking of this whole matter.The quilt was uncovered at last, and a big hand touched him deep, slightly coarse and cold, like the devil's hand from hell.

"What is this? Why me? How does he know me? Isn't he Zhan Yao's father? Shit, what the hell is all this about?"
He was so scared and screamed out.
The man fell into a short silence after awhile and then said to the girl sitting next to him who kept silent.

"If I find out that you and your father are toying with me for money, I am gonna kill you two together" His merciless voice send shiver down her spine that she teared silently. He was so terrifying while being angry.

His voice was hoarse and low. Extremely nervous as she promised that they were not after his money, she could not tell whether it sounded pleasant or not but the situation according to her father words is very critical.

Bai Yu Tong clenched his teeth and endured the fear, then said with a trembling voice.

"Yes... I'm a little scared, but I can overcome it..." He held his phone and called for his father. Hearing his voice after he picked up, Bai Yu Tong felt more secured after realising at last why anyone needs a father.
