"What in the world, Bobby?!" she screamed when he uncovered her mouth. She hit him three times with her purse.

Bobby blocked his face. "Argh, stop it, Jisoo! All right, all right, I'm sorry!"

Jisoo stopped hitting him. "Why on earth would you do that?" she screamed, still shaken. "Do you have any idea how scared I was?"

Just a few minutes ago, Jisoo thought she was going to get robbed – or worse, raped.

"I'm sorry," Bobby repeated. "I wasn't sure if anyone was going to see me. I don't want interaction with other people right now."

Jisoo wiped the sweat off her brow. "Good – get out of my car."

"Whaaa...?"

"You almost gave me a heart attack! You don't deserve to stay here. You said you don't want interaction so go!" Jisoo pointed to the outside.

"Don't be like that, Miss Number Two!" Bobby wailed. "I just got off a flight and I'm tired!"

Jisoo proceeded to hit him again. "Don't! Call! Me! Miss! Number! Two!"

Bobby grabbed both her hands and put them up in the air, drawing his face close to hers.

Jisoo's expression immediately went from being angry to being scared.

"What's this? You're scared aren't you?" Bobby whispered with an evil grin.

Don't blush, Jisoo. Don't you dare blush, Jisoo screamed in her head.

"I think you're remembering our first kiss..." Bobby said softly, leaning in closer.

Before he could touch her lips, Jisoo reversed her hands, grabbed Bobby's wrists and twisted them.

"ARRRGHHHHHHH!" Bobby screamed. "You've gone crazy!"

Jisoo let him go, brushing her hair. "You deserve that! How dare you show up after all these years thinking I'm going to kiss you just by showing up!"

A FEW HOURS LATER...

By some crazy miracle, they arrived at Jisoo's house.

"Here – put some ice on that."

Bobby grabbed the ice pack and placed it on his wrists. "Isn't Mrs. Kim and Halmeoni staying with you?"

Jisoo was in the kitchen, preparing tea. "Halmeoni died 5 years ago. Mom is back in Hongdae. I visit her every weekends."

Bobby went silent.

Jisoo came to the living room, leaving a cup of tea for Bobby and drinking one for herself. "Are you surprised that she passed away?"

"Yeah... so uh...ahem...Mrs. Kim is living alone?" Bobby said haltingly. I hope Halmeoni had a blast in her last years on Earth.

"Yes. She said that if I don't give her grandkids in 2 years, she'll be moving away to Mangpu Island."

Bobby chuckled. "Sounds like Mrs. Kim." He took the cup of tea from Jisoo.

"Why are you here?"

Bobby looked at her. "Well, I came for the engagement. June called me over the phone and asked to be his best man. I would've gotten here sooner if my flight didn't get delayed."

"Don't you have training?"

"Not this month, no."

"Why were you at the hospital?"

"I was hoping I could...I wanted to see you. I knew you were working there, and June was giving me updates on the party. Jennie said I'll find you here since you left your car."
