Shannon and Tom's P.O.V
Just like Maddy said; Whitewood has come for us.
The three of us are back in Jeffries class, she'll have a million questions for us but no matter what we won't betray our friends, she can do her worst.
"Shannon, Tom, I assume you both know why I'm here, am I right?"
"You're here to asks us about Maddy." Tom says.
Dr Whitewood nods her head and looks at us both like we're her accomplices, like we owe her something; we owe her nothing.
"So, care to explain what happened that day Maddy brought her per wolves into school?"
Maddy told us to tell her the truth, to keep her and ourselves safe, we will tell her nothing. To see Maddy again we must get rid of her.
"Maddy brought two pet timber wolves into school because Liam had gotten suspicious that she and her family and Tom and I were werewolves, she showed them all the truth." Shannon says looking bored.
"Well, that is not what Liam provided me with, I believe that you knew about the dog chew?"
"When I analysed it I discovered the DNA of a hybrid species; a human that was also part wolf."
"You're sure there wasn't mix up?" Tom asks.
"I'll ask the questions here."
Tom and I can't stand this, maybe we should tell her, she's desperate, but we'll never see Maddy again.
"What happened after that day?"
"What do you mean?" Shannon throws back at her.
"Later that afternoon someone broke into my lab and stole the dog chew and the DNA results. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that would you? Or were you by any chance involved?"
"Shan and I were stuck here for detention with Jimi, Sam and Liam."
Dr a Whitewood can't prove anything, she can't blame us or get anything out of us.
"Actually, your blonde haired friend did he have any part in what happened with my evidence being stolen?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Well, just that your blonde friend looked awfully familiar, in fact he looked a lot like the thief. Think I saw him in the woods last night."
"Our friend?" Tom asks quite hesitantly.
"I'm sick of your lies."
Shannon and Tom give no reply.
"Very well, if you won't cooperate then I'll just go and see what your friend has to say."
"We're getting Jeffries." Tom makes an excuse.
"Why, are you hiding something from me?"
"Look, why don't you just get on with your life and forget all about this?" Shannon suggests.
Dr Whitewood looks down and smiles s little, she looks back up and smiles right at us; that's not a good sign.
"What did I once tell you? Once I get the sniff of a mystery, I can't rest until I've solved it."
She's gone, she's going after Rhydian, we have to warn him.
"Come on Tom."
Shannon and I race straight outside and get our bikes, in no time at all we're cycling away as fast as possible.

Times running out.
"Rhydian, what's wrong?" Mum is frantic, Kathy's anxious.
