Maddy's P.O.V

It's all coming back to me now. Back at Bradlington High, all of the pupils running around mad and now my long-awaited return. Everything seems exactly the way it was before I left, no changes are what make me happy right now; with all of the changes that I've been through I couldn't bear to face up to anymore, not when I will be changing every night from now on, only safely this time.

"Maddy?" a thousand vicces are calling out in disbelief.

Without being distracted I carry on with making my entrance, it all goes plain smooth, until Jimi jumps out in front of me, who knows what he's gonna do; he's done all sorts to annoy and ruin people, me included.

"Where've you been? Wolves been hunted or something?" typical Jimi.

"Get out of my way." rage is building up in me, like a chemical reaction about to  burst into flames; I've seen it happen with Shan a couple of times.

"Oh come on, I'm sorry." he touches my shoulder as I try to walk away.

There's no point in pretending; I shove him hard, his hold on me breaks and he stumbles back and falls down onto the ground, I'm sure it hurt, but I don't even care.

"What's your problem?!"

Everybody who's seen it comes rushing in, that's all I need; a bunch of nosey teenagers on my case. I notice a few familiar faces: Sam, the K's.... Liam; the one who thought that  me and my family were werewolves, he's just as much the reason for me losing my parents as Dr Whitewood was.

"Go away, all of you!"

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of her bed then." even Kara's starting to joke now.

I ignore her and try to look for an opening throught the massive circle of students confining me and Jimi to the middle, like we are the outsiders, different and they are the normal ones, well we'll see about that.

"You think you're so much better than us don't ya? Well let me tell you something: in all the time that I've been away there is one important lesson that I have learned and it's to never let anything or anyone stand in your way, if they do then deal with it on your own. Why? Because that's just what I really am: alone."

No one will move so I push my way through all of them, no looking back or no acknowledgement of their presence. Even my friends Tom and Shannon weren't there for me this morning, it's all clear now; I am supposed to be alone, then so be it. If I could survive alone in the wild then surely I can handle on my own in my very own high school.

The bell rings for registration, Mr Jeffries clas is one classrom that I'll never forget; I've been in that same class for all of my years as a student at Bradlington, I can even picture it all as clear as day. When I approach the open door the invvitation is in my interest as I enter and look upon the familiar scenery: history textbooks, posters, the smartboard, the desks all dispersed across the room; all with only two chairs at them, it's as though I was never gone.

Everyone comes in and takes their seats, I stay standing at the desk, I don't know where to sit, Mr Jeffries enters and looks at me with shock and unexpected relief.

"Maddy! I never thought we'd see you again how, hows..." he starts stammering.

"Anyway, why don't you take your seat."

"Where am I going to sit sir?"

Mr Jeffries is puzzled at my question; I don't get it, if I don't know where I should sit then how should he expect me too?
