Jana's P.O.V
"Where is Maddy?!"
Bryn and I have searched the entire camp; not one stone left unturned. Aran and Meinir are waiting right behind me, when I look at them both it occurs to me: Meinir must've done something.
"What did you do Meinir?!"
"Don't blame me alpha, I never saw the tame since she beat our strongest."
"Derian." I say to myself.
It must've been him that got rid off Maddy, I hope she's not hurt.
As the alpha it is my utmost responsibility to protect all Wolfbloods; tame or wild. My leadership would be meaningless if I failed Maddy, Rhydian would never forgive me, he cares for Maddy, I should see to it that she returns safely.
"Where's Maddy?" Derian gorges on his meat, taking no concern for my question or my presence.
"Gone."
"What did you do to her?"
"She wasn't right for the wild, she used Eolas and fled."
She embraced her wild wolf, it changed her and now she's trying to get home to try and remain what she doesn't want to lose: human.
Bryn has heard what Derian said, he knows what my intentions are.
With the pack gathered I take my position: standing on top of the cut tree trunk. Every Wolfblood is listening to me now.
"I have to find Maddy, she's in danger and needs my help. I'm asking for some help from a few of you."
"Why should we help a tame?" A Wolfblood calls out arrogantly.
"Just because she's more human than us does not make her one of us and that we shouldn't help her."
The pack all calm out in protest, their words are indistinct, unclear and I know they are refusing.
"Your place is here, as the alpha as is all of ours." Derian says- of course he is against me- as though he's the alpha.
"My brother once lived with us, he lives in the human world now. When I met him he told me that there is a bit of human in all of us, we're just too frightened to open up to it." Bryn speaks clearly and with great passion.
Bryn's words inspire me and I look at the pack: confused, unhinged and look like they are trying to hide.
"I'm going and I want a few of you to come with me."
Aran and Meinir kneel before me and how their heads in firm allegiance.
"We'll go with you." Meinir says looking at me.
"I'm going too." Bryn kneels as well.
"Thank you. We will leave now." I greet my followers and turn to leave, they follow behind.
"Then I'll be in charge until you return." Derian orders.
"As you wish." I reply.

Maddy's P.O.V
Stoneybridge.
That's all I remember, along with my name:
I am Maddy Smith.
Stoneybridge is my home and it's where I belong, I don't know much about Tom and Shannon but they were quite important to me... I think.
On top of everything all that I can also remember is a name:
Rhydian, who or what is that?
'I'm coming home'
The cold wind forces its way all around me as I run fast, run free like the wolf I am, like the wolf I want to be. This is who I am: a wild Wolfblood who lost all memory of her past and must return to Stoneybridge; but why?
