Violet's P.O.V.

Today I've decided to put on a concert to commemorate my first time performing onstage. As soon as I reached my destination, I heard someone call my name. "Violet?! Is that you?!" Said the voice. I turned around and saw my ex boyfriend, Kevin Bombay. "Kevin?!" I said excitedly. "That's me!" Said Kevin. We wrapped each other into a tight hug.

Oh, I almost forgot! Kevin and I used to be boyfriend and girlfriend. But when I told him about me wanting to be a singer, he calmly said that he didn't want our relationship to get in the way of my dream. So we mutually broke up and agreed to remain friends.

Back to the story! After a few minutes of hugging, we pulled away. "It's been so long! How've you been?" Kevin asked. "Pretty good. I'm actually performing in front of a huge audience today." I said. "You are?! Wow! Am I invited?" Asked Kevin. "Well, I didn't know if I was gonna run into you. But I'm more than happy to squeeze you in." I said. "Sweet! Thanks, Vi!" Kevin said.

As the two of us took some time to catch up, we made our way inside. "So, have you written any songs since you became a singer?" Asked Kevin. "I have. So far, I've written four songs. I'm gonna sing them during my show today." I said. "That's great! I looked at your flyer and it seems like you're performing two hours after The Beatles." Kevin said. "The what now?" I asked. "The Beatles. Have you ever heard of them?" Asked Kevin. "Oh wait! I remember now! I love them!" I said.

Kevin and I found the auditorium of where The Beatles are performing before me. We were greeted by my dear friend, Todd. "Hey, Vi!" He said. "Hey, Todd. Do you remember Kevin?" I asked. "Oh yeah! I haven't seen him since you two broke up!" Said Todd. "Violet deserves to follow her dream as a singer, so breaking up was the best option. But I'm glad we agreed to still be friends." Kevin said. "I'm glad too." I said. "I hope you guys brought earplugs. I've gone to a lot of The Beatles' concerts and the crowds were filled with screaming teenage girls." Said Todd.

I reached into my purse and pulled out a pack of earplugs. I then put them into both of my ears. Kevin did the same thing. More people started coming in as it was getting close to showtime. I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Todd. "Where are your parents? Do they know about your performance?" He asked. "Yeah. They just didn't know about The Beatles performing first. They'll be here soon though." I said. Todd gives me a thumbs up.

The Beatles arrived onstage as their concert began. I took one look at the left handed bass player. I think his name is Paul McCartney. As soon as got a better look at his face, my heart rate began to speed up. He was so darn cute!

Anyway, the band started singing their first set of songs. I was super excited when they started singing my favorite song, I Saw Her Standing There.

1, 2, 3, 4!

Well, she was just seventeen
You know what I mean
And the way she looked
Was way beyond compare
So how could I dance with another
Ooh, when I saw her standing there?

Well, she looked at me
And I, I could see
That before too long
I'd fall in love with her
She wouldn't dance with another
Ooh, when I saw her standing there

Well, my heart went "boom"
When I crossed that room
And I held her hand in mine

Oh we danced through the night
And we held each other tight
And before too long
I fell in love with her
Now I'll never dance with another
Ooh, since I saw her standing there

Well, my heart went, "Boom"
When I crossed that room
And I held her hand in mine

Oh, we danced through the night
And we held each other tight
And before too long
I fell in love with her
Now I'll never dance with another
Oh, since I saw her standing there
