☆Chapter 7~Our Crazy Plan Gets Crazier☆

"So. You're telling me: you had the same dream I did, but with your dad instead of mine?" Ari asked. The other two agreed to my plan, and Neil let me use his phone, and I called up Ari to explain the plan.

I brushed my hair away from my ear. "Yup."

"And now you guys agreed to go to the Nexussili Mountains to find them?

"Uh-huh."

"Do you know how crazy that sounds? If I wasn't me, I wouldn't agree."

"So, do you agree?"

"Obviously! You people are gonna need my skills!"

I snickered. "What skills?"

"Geniusness, strength, all that stuff."

"Yeah, sure."

"So... now what?"

     I'm not sure. That's my habit: I make amazing plans, then have no idea how to execute it.

"Can you come over, maybe? So we can talk together?" I suggested.

"Sure," he replied, "I'll be over in a minute."

     I hung up, and gave the phone back to Neil.

"Did he agree?" He asked hopefully. I nodded.

"Woo!" He yelped happily.

     We sat on the couch, waiting for Ari. A few minutes later, he arrived. 

" 'Sup, heroes!" He announced, "The leader is here!"

"Yeah, okay," Audra joked.

"So the plan?" Ari asked as he flopped across the armchair.

"Um, go to the Nexussili Mountains, find Roxy, then find our lost parents?" I suggested.

"No seriously, how are we gonna do that?" He asked, sounding genuinely confused.

"Um... I... uh..." We heard a knock on the door, saving me.

"I'll get it!" Neil offered. He leaped up, speed-walked to the front door, and we heard it open. I decided to follow him, and the other two did also.

"Hi!" Neil said to the person at the door, but I sensed a hint of nervousness, and I understood why once I saw who was at the door. I stopped in the hallway, watching.

    The Mr. Mystery from school.

"Hi Neil, is your dad here?" They said.

How did they know Neil?! I was genuinely concerned. I looked back at Audra, and she was as 

confused and nervous as me. Ari was mostly calm, and was looking at us weirdly, as if to say why are you so concerned?

"Yeah, he's in the other room," Neil explained, pointing back down the hallway. The mystery dude nodded and started away. We came around the other way, and met Neil at the front door. 

"Neil, what the actual heck?!" I exclaimed. 

"It's just the Terrus. If you're nervous about if they knew it was us, it's fine. No one could tell it was us," he explained. 

"What?!" Audra and I yelped at the same time.

"Why are you two freaking out?" Ari asked, confused.

"Because that was the dude who threatened us at school!" Audra told him. Neil and Ari exchanged glances, then stared.

"I didn't hear about this!" Neil said, beginning to flip out, "I coulda explained! You coulda told a teacher! I coulda helped! Why the heck would he ever want to threaten some kid? Did they know who you are? Did--"
