Ariyaquila No more ender dragon abuse!
Iskall POV
Iskall had decided that as an extended demise challenge, he would try to defeat the ender dragon with the weaker armor and dragon head. Although, he figured that it would probably be his last extended demise challenge, as he was probably going to die. He gathered the ender crystals needed to summon the ender dragon as he prepared the potions needed.
Jumping through the end portal, still paranoid about traps, he went to the gateway home and placed the four end crystals. The gateway closed, and the end crystals on top of the towers were relit. The ender dragon had been summoned. Iskall had backed up during the summoning to avoid getting hit too early on. Now, however, he charged, yelling, "SPARTA!"
At least, he was charging, until he heard a voice. "Has another person come to kill me?"
That stopped Iskall in his tracks. "What?!" He exclaimed, looking around to see who had spoken, though there was no one else but the ender dragon.
"Oh, can you understand me? It must be the dragon head."
"Who is talking to me?" Iskall asked frantically, though he could hear that his voice seemed to have an underlying hiss.
"Wow, I thought humans were smarter than that. I guess not. It's me, the ender dragon, idiot." The voice, now known to be the ender dragon replied with a snort.
"But, what, how can I understand you? This never happened in the past!" Iskall sputtered, trying to wrap his head around it.
"You didn't have an ender dragon head on you before." The ender dragon replied with an amused tone.
"Oh, that makes sense," Iskall said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"You're here to kill me then?" The ender dragon said though it sounded like a question.
"Well, I was" Iskall dragged out the last word before continuing, "But I reconsidered, and I was wondering if you would let me build you a little sanctuary on one of the end isles with end crystals and anything else you would need."
"Really?" The ender dragon breathed in disbelief. "No one has ever done that before. All they want to do is kill me to open more gateways."
"Well, there is also the fact that once you are summoned, you can't get back to the overworld unless you die..."
"That's probably what it is. How are you going to get back then?"
"Well, I'll make the sanctuary for you, I have a lot of blocks on me and in my ender chest, then, if it is okay with you, I can summon another ender dragon, kill it, open the portal, then we should be all set!" Iskall proposed, hoping he didn't offend the ender dragon by suggesting killing another of her kind.
"I guess that could work. Do you want a ride to an end isle to start working on the sanctuary?" The ender dragon offered
"Of course! I mean, how often is it that someone gets to ride on the back of an ender dragon?" Iskall exclaimed, instantly excited.
"Not very often since the players always want to kill us so we have to defend ourselves." The ender dragon knelt down to allow Iskall to clamor onto her back. The ender dragon took off once she was sure Iskall was on, flying towards the end islands.
They flew for a few minutes in silence, before Iskall suddenly commented, "What's your name?"
The ender dragon's flight studdered, and they fell for a moment before the ender dragon controlled her flight. "No one has asked me my name before, I don't think I have one. I've always been known as the ender dragon. Do you want to give me a name?"
Iskall was taken aback, "Me, name you?"
"Yeah."
"Oh, okay, uh, how about Wendy!"
"Wendy." The ender dragon let the name roll around her tongue before deciding "Yeah, I like that name"
"Well, Wendy, if I don't have a name tag in my ender chest, once I make the sanctuary I'm going to go back and grab a name tag and make your name official." As Iskall looked down at Wendy, he could see a few tears of, he was assuming, happiness. As the duo got farther away from the main island, Iskall checked his coordinates on his phone. "Okay, I think this is far enough. Why don't we land on the next island we see?"
"Of course!" Wendy veered downward and landed on the closest island, which seemed to be big enough to recreate a similar set up to the main end island, including the end crystals. Iskall jumped off Wendy and glid down to the island, setting down his ender chest and taking out some obsidian, starting to build. When he had finished, he noted down the coordinates and flew back to the main island, ready to summon another dragon so he could get back to the overworld.
Iskall fought it, and somehow defeated it without dying, which he was glad for because then he could still talk to Wendy. When he arrived back in the overworld, he went to get a name tag while messaging the other hermits that if they find Wendy, don't kill her.
And it's done! So, there is going to be some rearranging of chapters a little bit so that my To Season 7 part one is at the end so that the second part is in the season 7 portion.
