The Ice King. The crown had been passed from Stress to Etho officially. Etho looked at his ice farm with satisfaction, as the sun began to set. Knowing he had to get back to his base, he turned to go through the Nether portal he had set up, only to be blasted with an unbearable heat as soon as he went through. The normally unnoticed cooldown between going through nether portals felt unbearably long as Etho stumbled away from the portal a little, black spots starting to fill his vision.Etho stumbled back to the nether portal as soon as he was sure that the cooldown had worn off. As soon as he felt himself leave the nether, he immediately felt much better. The snowy biome felt normal, as if he were in a plains biome. He could still feel the satisfying sharpness of the cold air around him, but he was comfortable as he was.

As he lay down on the snow in front of the nether portal, Etho tried to think of why the Nether seemed so hot all of a sudden. He wondered if it had anything to do with becoming the Ice King, so Etho pulled out his communicator sending a message to Stress

<Etho> Hey Stress?

<Stressmonster101> Yes hun?

<Etho> Did you ever find it really hard to go through the nether because of the heat while you were Ice Queen?

<Stressmonster101> Yeah, it's more bearable if you carry some blue ice with you, don't worry, you can touch it with your bare hands now!

<Etho> Thank you so much Stress!

Pocketing his communicator, Etho grabbed a few bits of blue ice he had crafted, and stuck it in his pockets, preparing to enter the nether again, now knowing what to expect.

Stress was right, having the blue ice on him helped a lot while in the nether. It still felt scorching, but he wasn't dying from the heat. Etho made it back to his portal with minimal difficulty. He jumped through it, ready to be out if the dry heat of the nether. Surely the jungle wouldn't be as bad.

How wrong he was. While the nether had a dry heat similar to a desert, the jungle was hot and humid. He would have to carry more ice around, just so that he was comfortable. And he'd have to adjust to the humidity of the jungle.
